New ball

a friend of mine loves the way his old Predator rolls for him and wants something new to sort of replace it. Any suggestions on a new Ebonite nugget? Thanks.

I have heard some good things about the Exceed.  However, it depends on his specs.  What is his ball speed and is he more of a stroker or a cranker?

The three newest pieces from ebonite are all very good.  What kind of reaction is he looking for?  The challenge is a solid that is very smooth and earlier hooking.  The exceed is a hybrid that hooks a little later.  The Champion is a pearl that hooks late.  I have thrown the first 2 and will have my champion tomorrow.

Which Predator did he have? There were a few of them. If he is looking for something similar it will be hard to find in todays market but I would suggest a Cyclone as your best option in the current lineup.

he knows it will be hard finding something similar. he has the red predator, which i believe was the original one. pin is to the right of ring finger & cg kicked out right. he is a cranker with some good speed on the ball.

i will check out the Exceed & the Cyclone. i do not believe he wants anything earlier. if any of you have any other suggestions please let me know!!

thanks for the replies.
