I loved the coverstock of the TPC Shooter XL(Big Bang XL Solid) and loved the fact that they wrapped a modified V2 core around it.  For shorter spotty conditions, sport conditions below 38ft in distance, and light volumes the V2 Clean is one of the best choices I have in my bag.

I have this ball layed out with the pin over the bridge(5 1/2" to PAP) and a large weighthole 6 1/2" from the center of grip on the midline to give me a touch more late flare.

With the pin in the high R.G. position and the factory finish on this ball, I don't think there is a condition dry enough to make this ball check up in early.  Distance and an easy read through the fronts in the strongpoint of this ball.  On fresher house conditions this ball can jerk very hard off of the spot when playing the friction but in lighter volumes and shorter low ratio conditions, it gives a much better and controlled read since there is less wet/dry to react to.

The added x-hole really gives a strong continuation through the pin-deck which was exactly what I predicted prior to drilling.  It's so nice to see a reaction come to life and be precisely what I wanted it for prior to drilling.  The v2 Clean is a great asset for the player who likes to keep their trajectory straighter and still see a smooth reaction off of the turn in the backend.

Just bought this for my daughters first ball.  Its a 12# and has a basic fingertip setup in it for her to learn.  She loves it and you can see her game improving already.  She hopes to go out for her High School Team next season.  GO HHS!!!

This ball has a 2-3 inch pin and 3 oz. top weight.  It is drilled with pin above ring finger and cg slightly kicked out.

This ball goes long and has a nice turn into the pocket.  It has a very hard arc on med-dry lanes.  I can flatten out my hand and throw this ball up the 10 board or put some hand on it and throw from 20-5 but the lanes need to be a little bit drier.  This might be because the ball has over 300 games and is dieing out on me.  It still hits like a truck and travels with me to tournaments.  This ball hooks a little less than my Lane 1 H20 and not nearly as much as my Track Freak Out.  Having said that this ball has great control even after 300 games and still is easy to clean and control.

Bowling at the KTC we have the privlige to bowl on many different types of oil patterns and out of all the ones we have bowled on this one is definatly the hardest one of the group. boards outside of 10 is out of bounds and anything inside of 18 there is no hold. with my speed and hand its hard to find a ball to match up on the pattern. This ball on the other hand... not a problem. takes out that over under on the dry and just moves in for a strike. We were playing baker games, starting out around 13 at the arrows and 11 at the breakpoint. As the lanes started to change which happened fast and keeps you moving meaning the reason for the name 'Pure Evil' around game 5 I was in to 18 swinging to 13 still carrying. Once the Righties started to migrate past 20-25 I was having a hard time figuring out why my ball started to check early. Then I started to pay more attention to were they were playing and adjusted off that. All I ended up doing was lofting it past the heads a little and the ball went right back to work. For this performance on this pattern I'm extremely happy.

Likes: super CLEAN in the fronts, smooth off the break point, carries like a MAC truck.

Dislikes: non thus far
