Ice?
« on: May 12, 2005, 06:19:23 AM »
Trying to decide if the Ice would work well on a sport shot(playing down and in).  I have heard that it is sensitive and has a lot of over/under.  What do you guys think?  If the Ice isn't a good choice what is?

My experiences with the Ice is that it is nice and clean through the fronts and not really flippy through the backend.  Pretty even off the breakpoint if you ask me.  Seems like it would be pretty good for a sport shot, but like D Pat, I haven't used mine on anything more than THS, or a modified THS (drier).

i have an ice but its pretty strong for the most part. it seems to retain alot of energy on the back end. i prefer to scuff it with some scotchbright to even out the breakpoint.
