Likes:This ball is going to be the best on the market when release. Its a striking machine, since i got mine 3 weeks ago I have shot multiple 300,299,800 and 288 with this ball. Its like combining the Mission,Mission 2.0 into one ball and get the reaction of both. Its very calm, predictable, but will hook on the back end continously. Bowl to Win.....

BALL SPECS

Pin Length:Pin high ball is 3 inches out and pin low is 3 1/4 inches out

Starting Top Weight:Both are 3 ounces

Ball Weight:15 pounds for both

DRILL PATTERN

Pin to PAP:Pin high ball has a Dual angle layout 65 degrees by 4 3/4 inches by 35 degrees with pin 3 3/4 inches above the midline. The second pin low layout is 50 degrees by 4 inches by 70 degrees with pin 1 3/8 inches above the midline.

CG to PAP:Pin high ball is 3 3/4 inches and pin low ball is 3 1/4 inches.

X Hole (if there is one):No balance hole on the pin high ball and a 1 1/16 inch balance hole drilled 3 inches deep, 3 1/2 inches below my PAP on the VAL one inch from the mass bias on the pin low ball.

BOWLER STYLE

Rev Rate:270-330 RPM

Ball Speed:16 mph

PAP/Track: PAP is 4 3/4 by 1/4 up and a 12 1/2 inch track

SURFACE PREP

Grit:3000 grit Abralon on both balls

Type: (Matte, Polish, Sanded):Matte

LANE CONDITION

Length:38-42 foot conditions

Volume:moderate volume

Type (THS, Sport Pattern etc):Autobahn, Turnpike, house shot

BALL REACTION

Length:Both balls had moderate length considering the box condition and lane condition. The pin high layout had more length than the ball with the low pin/balance hole layout.

Back End:Controllably strong backend with both layouts.

Overall Hook:Plenty of hook with both balls.

Midlane Read:The Mission $250K responds strongly in the midlane compared to the original Mission and the Mission 2.0.

Breakpoint Shape:Strong arc shape

COMMENTS

Likes:The Mission $250K is a nice oily condition compliment to the heavily pearlized Mission 2.0. The Mission $250K has an earlier and stronger hooking motion than the original Mission.

The strong rolling motion of the Mission $250K reminds me of an asymmetric version of the Vortex 2 sanded.

Dislikes: None to date.

Likes: This ball is AWESOME!!. This is the best of both worlds. You have the cleanness of the first Mission combined with the power of the second Mission. This by far is one of the best balls that Ebonite has ever made. This ball gets around the corner and carries even though I drilled my thumb hole through the mass bias. This ball is incredibly versatile.

Dislikes: Cover sensitive. You have to keep the coverstock on this ball clean..which can get you into a little trouble when bowling 5 game blocks. Other than that the dislikes on this ball will be minimal!

This ball is AMAZING!!! Strongest most consistent hitting Mission I have thrown yet.

I drilled the ball with the goal of getting strong recovery. I laid the ball out with the pin @ 4 1/2 and the MB @ 5 3/8. It gives me the exact look I want.

I tested the ball on a fresh  Kegal oiled house shot, 39ft medium heavy (actually I believe it is 36ft pattern buffed to 39ft), AMF synthetics.   On this pattern I lined up swinging the lane, 17 at the arrows out to around 8 at my breakpoint. The ball shot the heads with little to no resistance, and continued through the mids without showing much sign of a mid lane read.  When it got to the backends, it was a different story. I got a very strong move to the pocket. overall a strong skid/flip type of reaction.

Ebonite has another fantastic addition to the Mission family.

Likes: I have a mission, and a mission 2.0, which both are amazing. The Domination, or 250K tops them both. It is smooth through the front and its like it turns into a mac truck when it hits the pins. The pins and the competition doesn't stand a chance. This is a must have ball!!!

Dislikes: What is there to dislike when you keep striking? Amazing ball NO COMPLAINTS

This Mission is drilled pin above the bridge MB about 1 in left of thumb. With my PAP at 5 1/16> and 11/16^ it puts it about 50 5.5 40 dual angle. Ball rolls really well and is still controllable even with the big backend move. Very consistant at the breakpoint.

Likes:Strong backend move with a lot of continuation through the pins. Ball is drilled similar to the 916AT we have and creates a little more length and pop than the 916AT. Ball is going to be a great fit on the longer sport conditions with a Rico'd Mission when the lanes open up and I need some more pop.

Dislikes: Mine says $250K

Likes:  I was looking for a ball that was a bit stronger than my original Mission.  The original would lope in the midlane oil and I wanted something to make a stronger move.  This is exactly what I got in the 250k.  It revs up nicely and makes a very very strong turn right when I need it to do.  I have it about 5 boards stronger than the original but it seems even stronger than that.  Also, I like that its strength seems to mask many minor release or accuracy issues that come with my game.  I have bowled 5 games with it and 3 of them have been over 250.  Will most more once I put more games on it.

Dislikes: The name and the label markings

Likes: Very predictabe, I like this Mission the best!  The one had more of a skid flip and the second one did not match my game at all but this one is wonderful.  I have 9 game on is and have average 248 in the past 3 weeks.  I used my favorite layout for this ball, pin over ring with MB just to the right or thumb.  I have more hand then average and throw the ball about 18 mph so this drill pattern works very well for me on our normal house pattern

just got my domination drilled up. used it for the first game in a local tourny. I can tell im really going to like this ball. i have it drilled pin next to ring with the cg kicked out, and a weight hole. it reads the mid lane well with a violent back end. i rolled it on a ths low volume shot. i had to put it away after the first game since it was way too much ball for the condition. This ball will play nicely under my invasion. much more length and very angular.

ball hits like a tank. I cant wait to try it on a sport pattern!

Dislikes: Nothing yet...and I dont think I will have any either!

My Specss:

revs: about 300 i would gues and ball speed 15.5-16 mph. avg in the 180's.

Ball was left at box finish.

A very nice addition to the arsenal.  Clean thru the heads with a strong continuous backend.

I have it setup with the pin under the fingers on the centerline with the MB kicked to the right 2". I wanted it to compliment my 916at. When the 916 is a little long and jumpy I can switch to the 250K and get an earlier roll and better carry. And it does carry very well. Very little deflection in the pin deck.

First night in league I shoot 750 with a chance at 800 (big 4 in the 9th frame) Waiting to try it out on a PBA condition.

The 250k is definately a winner. This ball has that original mission look but on steriods. Drilled this one 60X5X30 to have a little more recovery. With the out of box finish it is very clean through the front cleaner through the midlane than i thought it would be and a very big and angular backend motion. It hooks atleast 5 to 7 boards more than the mission 2.0 for me. absolutely unbelievable on house patterns and longer sport patterns. I will not go to a tournment with out this piece in my bag.

The Mission $250K is an excellent addition to the Mission line.  The ball has good length and has a strong continuation to the pocket.

I have used this ball on a THS pattern and the ball gets through the heads very clean and then has a strong backend reaction to the pocket.  As with the other Missions, I can move my line deeper and still have the great back end continuation.

I have always been a fan of the Mission line and the $250K is another great addition.

This is my "go to ball" when I need something to rely on getting through some of the heavier patterns I bowl on, but still having confidence that it will continue through the pins.  Overall, this ball is a GREAT addition to your arsenal if you are looking for a piece of equipment to kick out a few extra corner pins!  I have a strong layout on mine which you can see below.  This is my favorite layout on any piece of equipment and seems to match up best to my game which tends to be a little straighter and firmer.  Great, Great ball!

Likes:  This mission is the only one I own but have thrown the first two also so I have a good comparison of the three.    My favorite was the 2.0 because it have my highest set with it went 290,290, 224 for a 804 set.  Yeh!!!   So when this domination came out and reading it had slightly more length than the 2.0 with more back end, I was excited.
Well I do love this mission domination ball alot.  carry down makes it really lack down lane even with my 20 mph 510 rev release.  I always need to move way inside and play just inside the carry down to score.  I usually have great success with this ball shooting 650's and higher but finding a ball to come in behind this one is tricky.  I am going to try taking the coverstock fromthe sanded 3000 to a 2000 siaair pad and see what the difference is.

I love the hard turn I get from this ball and the length matches up great for amy shots I come accross.

Dislikes:   The weakness to carry down.  If it's not caught quickly then it'll bite you.
