Cyclone coverstock: what's the story?
« on: September 02, 2011, 10:53:25 AM »
Just out of sheer curiosity (nothing more, nothing less), I want to know:
Are all 3 colors pearl/pearlized resin?
Are 2 of them pearls and one a solid?
OR
Are all three of them considered to be solid resin?

I have heard all 3 "stories".

I'm curious about that myself. I'm wondering if the pearl I see (especially on the bronze/silver/black one) is just for appearance or if it's performance pearl.

Answers, anyone?

now most of you know im not an ebo guru, but i still buy the latest and greatest from them (all three missions, all the jigsaws, the taboo etc etc)

now i could be very wrong here, but i did read on here before that, ebonite bowling balls are all always pearl now..

im probably wrong but i did remember reading that.

From my understanding 2 of the 3 are a little stronger, they found this out after TJ and JC rolled them.
But again this is something I heard from my proshop buddie that is on staff.

I sent an e-mail to Leanne (Barrett) Hulsenberg since she used one to win the Open, here's the answer.

Hi Roger...no they are all 3 the same and not pearlized...just the good ol GB 10.7 Gamebreaker/ The One coverstock. It's an awesome ball and very good seller.

Thanks for the email.
Leanne

I figured she would know, not be leaving any question.

Maybe this will help.
