New ball
« on: October 16, 2014, 07:56:54 AM »
I know I asked this question before but here it goes again.  I have a pivot and honor.  I would like two more balls.  I want them to be less hooking than the honor and pivot.  So in order of most hook to least would be pivot, honor, ball A and Ball B.  I want to stay with ebonite also.

For me I would have to have a GameBreaker 2, you could play with the surface and match it up with those two and you could add a Cyclone.

GB2 is a MUST HAVE in any bag, personally  I would prefer it over the Pivot. To me the Honor is a great combo of the Pivot/Pivot Point which you can adjust the surface as well. I know you said least hooking so you could go Source and Cyclone and be below the Pivot & Honor. Just my  two cents..

If you have money to splurge on new balls and wanted to stay strictly Ebonite then I would personally bench the Pivot (when I see Pivot's and Honor's on the lane they look extremely similar too me. I'd keep the Honor just because I prefer the color but performance wise they seem to both hold the same spot), bring in the Gamebreaker 2, a Cyclone (everyone who owns them loves them. They are versatile and easily adjustable) and then a plastic ball.

Just my opinion  ;D

GB2 = must have, it can be pretty strong with OBB surface, needs head oil
with proper layout and surface, it can be below the honor

the new Salute looks interesting as well
the cyclone is also a must for the bag, but i use mine when the heads are toast
great piece for the price point
