Please Help Identify Ball

Believe this is the black panther??? It does not say panther anywhere on the ball.  It does have a green dot serial # 61D1958

Used the turbo core and it was in the "cat" line with Wildcat, Tiger, Puma, etc..

Can you tell me why the ball i have does not say panther under the cats face? I inherited this ball and would like to find out what it is worth

It may have been an early model and they changed it, similar to a lab ball or they added the letters. You'd have to contact EBI and see if they can help. The value is whatever somebody will pay for it and being an older reactive the value usually isn't very high.
