Description: The upper-mid performance Ebonite Salute bowling ball uses the Adrenaline core that was originally featured in high performance balls from Ebonite. The strong symmetric shape of this core helps produce long and strong motion on medium oil conditions. The Big Time Hybrid coverstock on this ball is comprised of 80% silver pearl and 20% black solid blend. This blend assists in providing easy length and strong motion in the mid-lane and back end.

REVIEW:
This ball out of the box provides moderate length and a strong move in the back-end. With the box finish and that layout, the ball has good length and a strong reaction in the back end. For me, this ball is a step down from the Out of Box (OOB) GameBreaker2 but much stronger than a cyclone. Compared to a polished GB2 it's about 3-5 feet longer down the lane. It's certainly not intended for heavy oil but if you have a lot of hand or two-handed, this ball could be ideal. The core stands up well as it enters the pocket and it hits well too. It's about 4 boards right on the approach and 2 right with the eyes weaker than a polished GB2 which has a 5.5 by 5.5 drill 4" PIN. I recommend this ball for medium length patterns. For me it wasn't ideal on the longer ones especially the wet/dry. There are other options for that.  Pick one up today and conquer the competition.

COMMENTS
The Adrenaline was one of my favorite symmetric cores that I have thrown by Ebonite.  When I heard from R & D that this core was going to be reintroduced, I was very excited.  The SALUTE has lived up to its predecessor (Adrenaline) and then some. Out of the box it is very angular at your breakpoint.  The adrenaline core eliminates the over-under found in some company’s symmetric cores.  The SALUTE still slows down in the midlane but maintains its strong response at the breakpoint.  Ebonite’s R & D team matched the core to the new hybrid cover perfectly.  I also modified the cover from the factory polish to a 3000 abralon pad surface for heavier oil environments and it still had that same look at the breakpoint but picked up the midlane sooner.  This ball is versatile, continuous at the breakpoint and it performs on a multitude of environments.  Great job Ebonite!
