Shorter pin-pap on Warrior
« on: January 30, 2016, 12:46:33 PM »
Anyone tried a shorter pin-pap like 3" to retain axis rotation a little more?

I picked up a plugged warrior that's practically new off eBay for cheap. Just debating if I want to drill it strong or do something a little different

3" will not retain axis rotation longer if anything it'll be shorter....it's too close to leverage or 3.375" and the highest instability or highest potential to create flare...if anything either go to 1.5" or 5+" to minimize flare and/or retain a less wobble more flaring core

But I thought it was different with asymmetric cores?

There was no mention of the mass bias merely the pin to pap and asymmetry loses rotation quicker

I have one that is 2 3/4 x 90 x 40 with no weight hole.  I can't get left of the track with it b/c it really stands up and rolls out but it's awesome throwing it really hard up around 8 or 10 with a touch of belly.  I really like it just can't use it very often.  Carry is very good going up the lane but like I said can't really hook it gotta go hard and straight.
