Tommy Jones Throws Complete Game | Verdict Pin-Up Layout

This Keeping it Real complete game format ball demo, is pretty good.

No blaring loud music (through the whole thing), they shoot a complete game and tells at least a little about how he adjusts with the ball.

I agree, I would love to see reviews by your average house hack like myself. But....

Even then that guy probably doesn't roll like me or under the same conditions as me.  So it probably won't help all that much.

I wish we could demo balls like you can demo golf clubs.  Yea I've heard of demo days, but in my area those happen like once a year.  I know I'm probably asking for the impossible, but maybe somebody out there in the industry will read this and figure out a way to make it happen.  If he does find a way, I hope he lives in SoCal.

Just thinking, dealerships have demo cars.  And once initial demand goes away they sell at a discounted price right???  Now what I don't know is if it's possible for a PSO to have a demo ball, say 15lbs, with average size span holes that can be fitted with interchangeable finger/thumb inserts to handle fine tuning of the fitment for the person wanting to demo it.  Two demo balls, 1 male average hand size and the other female average hand size.  Is that possible?  I'll ask my PSO next time I see him.

My local Pro Shop has exactly what you are asking about. He has interchangeable thumbs and fingers to get at least a reasonably close fit. At any given time, he has 10+/- balls available to try.

Thanks Milo.  Maybe I can talk my PSO into trying this out.

What they tend to do for demo days (at least the few that EBI has put on that I've attended) is that they have a generic layout that they put on it, and rubber grips and interchangeable slug. They'll take your fitting and match up on the grips and slug. Then put those into the ball and off you go. When you want to try a new ball, they pull the grips and slug, put them into a new ball, and off you go again. The grips are not glued in (they would take a soft mallet to them to put them in the ball), so that's what makes it easy to change to a different ball. The balls they have would have different spans, so that's how they match you to the ball.

As for locations, IIRC, have you looked at their site?

If you're in SoCal, there is a Demo days coming to Tarzana next month; 9/17/17 to be exact. Check the calendar, and you should be set. Also, I want to say that the SW Regional rep for EBI is either in Vegas or Reno, so they do them often on this side of the country. But definitely check that calendar.
