Anyone Thrown the R Series?
« on: January 17, 2007, 03:56:16 AM »
I was looking on BP.com and they have the mucho expensive Aliens, but also have the R Series which would be a little more doable price wise.  Anyone thrown any of them?

I have an RS48, that I have got to throw during my traveling league today.  Bad, old wood house, dry from the get go.  We bowl (2) three game sets.  I sat out the first set.  Came in cold, shot 220, 250, 220 for 70_ something.  This ball went really long, good hitting power.  It is definitely a dry lane ball.  I think this could be the Red Pin Zone Classic.  This ball was better than my Red Pin Zone Classic though.  This Elite ball is 16lbs, as I am using 16 for a little while, carry was very good, 1 solid 9, 1 4 pin, some 10 pins.  No 8s, 7s, tripped the 4 a few times.

The quality is going to be good, it's Brunswick.

I do alot of Elite bags and accessories in my shop, not too many balls, but the people that have bought them are very happy.
