Black label cover stock adjust?
« on: March 08, 2008, 12:32:47 PM »
I have a Fury at OOB and a Elite Black Label at OOB. Both are according to the spec sheets Wet Sand 800 finish. However the Elite almost feels polished in comparison to the Fury which feels dull. Do you think that if I were to take it to a pro shop and have them adjust the cover to 800 it would feel more dull like the Fury does? I guess I am just not sure why one feels shiny and the other feels dull (like I expected the elite to feel). I am looking to start fine tuning my bowling balls now.

Has anyone else adjusted the cover on the EBL before? I want to get some more hook out of the ball and stop hitting the 2 pin (lefty) so I want it to read a tad earlier.

Brunswick Fury
Elite Black Label

Do it!  I took mine to what it should have been. 800 Wet Sand and it made a pretty noticeable difference.  I think you'll be happy with doing so.
