there are far better choices, or if you want the PBA balls like inverted 1 said use the Infernos

I'm pretty sure there is a particle version of PK18 as well.

OK.

But you might want to buy the International Zones for about $50 cheaper.

Same ball. Unless you believe the Elite are magical somehow..

Keep looking... I'm sure there's a 300 in one of those balls you keep buying!!

Look, the point being that with this particular ball, he was comparing non-particle to particle as well.

Whatever. All of Elites balls are re-hash of Brunswick cover and cores.

New computer. New office. New ID.
Yes, it be I, the Inverted 1.

Yes the "Elite Alien" is a SPEED ZONE CORE W/ another BRUNSWICK COVER.
The R Series is QUANTUM CORES w/ PK covers.
Last I check you can get new QUANTUM'S for a lot cheaper.
Just because the ball is named after a PBA condition doesnt mean its going to roll good on ANY condition.
How many Elite balls you ever see on TV?
Duke a few years back and Voss, thats it.
I have only seen 2 Aliens in my center which is the busiest around and maybe 2 R series balls.
And there are thousands of bowlers here.

Actually elite balls work best for the way i bowl.. I have a few companies in my bag and elite has consistantly worked the best.. My proshop guy, which is Brunswick sponsored.. told me the alien would work the best for my style of bowling..

Congrats on your purchase. You have 3 balls with proven cores and covers, they should perform very well for you. These core shapes were specifically chosen for their performance characteristics and matched with a cover that should perform well on the specific patterns. Whats wrong with that? Does a core have to be a new design to perform well? No....There are plenty of new designs that perform a lot worse....

You've completely missed the point about why we put down Elite.  Congrats.

Pretty much everyone here will agree they're probably very nice balls.  Pretty much everyone here will agree that you can usually by the same core/cover combo from Brunswick for $150 less.  Not all of their balls have Brunswick equivalents, some of the core/cover combos are out of production by Brunswick or were never made in the first place.  In that sense, some are unique to Elite.  Others are not.  That they do not (and in the beginning, did not) tell you that made a lot of people very upset about spending $300 for a ball identical to the Monster Bruiser.
