1. How do I register for an account?
   • Click on the Register button located on the upper right of any page. Complete the information, ensuring you enter the correct email address. We will then send you a password for access.



2. How do I retrieve my Username and/or Password?
   • You can retreive both your Username and Password by going to our Password Retrieval Page. If you no longer have access to the email address you provided when you first registered, please send an email to info@ballreviews.com with your Username and the old email address asking for your information.



3. How do I post a Ball Review?
   • Make sure you are logged onto the website with your Username and Password. Click on the "Ball Reviews" link on the top navigation bar and select the Ball Manufacturer, then your bowling ball. From that page, click on the "Post a New Review" button.



4. How do I Rate a Ball Review?
   • Make sure you are logged onto the website with your Username and Password. While viewing the Bowling Ball Review, click on the "Score this Review" link below the Username. When you rate a review, a message is then launched to the person who provided the review stating that you have rated the review. If this person edits their review, you will then receive a message back asking you to rerate the review.



5. How do post a Topic in the Forums?
   • Make sure you are logged onto the website with your Username and Password. Click on the "Forums" link on the top navigation bar and select the relevant Board to post in. From that page, click on the "Post a New Topic" button.



6. How do post a Reply in the Forums?
   • Make sure you are logged onto the website with your Username and Password. Click on the "Forums" link on the top navigation bar and select a Board, then the topic you want to respond to. From that page, click on the "Reply to this Topic" button.



7. How do I upload my Photo?
   • Make sure you are logged onto the website with your Username and Password. Click on the "My Photo" link on the left of any page, under the "MYINFORMATION" heading. Follow the instructions on the page provided.



8. How do I upload Photos or Videos to my post?
   • While you are on the screen to post information, you will see a series of icons:
     
     Insert Image, Insert Flash, Insert Windows Media, Insert PDF, Insert YouTube
     Click on these icons to upload the media you require.



9. What is NPS?
   • NPS stands for Net Promoter Score. Please see our Net Promoter Score page for more information.



10. How do I rate a Buyer or Seller?
    • Make sure you are logged onto the website with your Username and Password. Go to any of the Boards under the For Sale/For Trade/Want to Buy category. Locate the user you did a transaction with by going to the thread that you were involved in. Once located, click on the "Buyer/Seller NPS" link below the persons name. Note that when you rate someone, the user will be sent a message that you rated them.



11. How do I report a Rule violation in the Forums or Ball Reviews?
    • Make sure you are logged onto the website with your Username and Password. When viewing the issue, click on the "Report Post" or "Report Review" link below the Username. This will enable you to notify our Admin of the post.



12. How do I block a User?
    • Make sure you are logged onto the website with your Username and Password. Click on the icon below the Username. This will place the user on your Block list where their information will no longer appear for you.



13. What does blocking a user do?
    • When you block a user, you will no longer see any posts from this user while logged onto the site. They will not be able to contact you.
    • Blocking a user also helps us in identifying potential problem users.
