I was fortunate enough tonight to witness history tonight at Domms Bowling in Rochester, New York.  As John Martorella Sr bowled a 900 series using a Black Widow Venom.  Congrats John !!!!

He has a nice soft area creating release, enjoyed watching it!  Congratulations to him, he looked cool as a cucumber!

Wish I could have seen what took the 10 pin out?  Did you ever see it fall?  I saw a lot of bodies in front of the screen on all 3 videos.

Regards,

Luckylefty

PS what took it out?

Good thinking on cell phone videos.  Too bad they all dived in front of the last frame in the excitement.

I would have been just as excited if not more so!

Still wondering how that last solid looking 10 fell!  Wish I saw it....

PS very impressive!

Congrats on an insane series!!! I was talking about this tonight at bowling and was thinking what do you think about when you have 33 strikes in a row and 3 shots from a perfect series? All I could say is WOW!!! Great composer and preshot routine!!!

Train a child up in the way they should go and when they are old they will do some "Damn Good Bowling", be a "DV8" and not turn from it, besides bowling starts with a Big B!

On regards to the last shot and how the 10 fell, in the middle link provided by titletowncards above at the 0:22ish mark and in the last link at the 2:21ish mark the 6-pin seems to clip the bottom half of the 10 knocking it off-center enough to go down.

(My personal take on the shot after playing it, pausing it, and slowing it down a few times)

Oh, and Congrats to the guy. 900 is 900, dont matter what you're bowling on or with.

900?   Is that all?   That would have been fun to witness.

Lane, the best way for you to witness a 900 would be to throw one yourself.
