Ball for medium-dry THS pattern?
« on: February 06, 2011, 12:46:50 PM »

I am looking for a ball for my daughter for when the pattern gets toasted after several games bowled. She is a lower rev bowler, avg speed 14-15mph, and typically shoots from the 17 to 10 on the THS. I am hoping to find her something that can handle the medium-dry patterns. She currently uses a 15lb Pure Swing as her got to ball and follows that with her 15lb VG, but both of these balls burn a lot of energy on the drier patterns that she has experienced. Any advice??

I just bought a red backlash and love it for a dry condition! Gets down the lane and is not too flippy, carries great from deep angles

I have been looking at the Backlash. Thanks for the advice on this one!

The Backlash's are great for the toasty conditions, but I think going from the Pure Swing or VG to the Backlash will be a huge step. I would recommend the Onyx Vibe for her, it will give her a similar smooth reaction but will get through the fronts much easier. Hope this helps
