Burgundy vs viral
« on: May 26, 2015, 06:54:06 AM »
I am thinking about getting either burgundy or viral.
For #13 balls, do they have generic core instead of vibe/modified vibe core for both burgundy and viral?

Which one do you recommend for slower speed bowler on dry/ shorter pattern?

Thanks in advance

Both are great pieces for the medium-drier lane patterns, but I would recommend the Viral. It does have a modified Vibe core in the 13# balls and still have the carbon fiber in the outer shell. The Viral will go longer with a nice backend motion while the Burgundy will hook sooner & with a much smoother motion of the backends.

Hope this helps your question...

Agreed on the Viral. It's a great end of block, end of league (depending on your oil conditions) rock. I would go with it over the Burgundy. I haven't drilled the Burgundy, but from what I have seen of it, I don't personally have much use for that particular ball. Viral all the way.
