Burn -vs- Venom
« on: August 04, 2009, 05:29:01 PM »
Hello Hammerheads

Ok folks, if you had to pick between a Burn or a Venom for a med-oil condition which would you choose?

Just wondering, seems to be two real good balls here and yet the BURN seems to have a pretty good following right now for being a new release.

My Burn is longer and stronger on the backend then the Venom.  Even with carrydown, the Burn recovers very well.

Jake,

The Venom can handle a little bit more of a puddle and tends to use more energy in the mids while the Burn will give you more length and angularity on the backend.

The Venom is your choice for medium heavy while the BURN can handle medium oil conditions. For me I got a better reaction out of the BURN, the Venom just burned up way too much in the mids for me and did not have enough to make the turn.

To answer your question, I would side with the BURN.

Terplife03,

Out of the RAW HAMMER series the Burn has the most backend reaction I have ever seen. I have personally thrown both the TOXIC and DOOM...on a scale as far as backend reaction I would have to go with the BURN giving the most backend reaction and the TOXIC being the ball that read the mid lane the earliest, more of a smooth arc for me with the TOXIC. The DOOM has backend reaction but not nearly as noticeable as a BURN in my opinion.

Hope this helps both of you guys! God Bless!

Hello Hammerheads

Well, just to let you know that after going round and round between the two choices I went with the Black Widow "Venom".

And I decided to go with the #1 drill for a med. tracker

So now I have the ONYX vibe, CHERRY vibe, and now the Black Widow "Venom"...I really like what I saw with the VIBEs and I am sure the "Venom" will be outstanding...cant wait to throw it!
