carry down?

i was bowling today on med oil. my black widow pearl was doing good on coming up to the pocket first game i shot a 247. i also had all the room in the world to miss. but by the third game wow. i was still hitting the pocket but wasn't carrying as well i move all over the place but wasn't getting the same look i had that fist game the oil was carrying down and i don't have another ball to switch to so what would u guys suggest.

I agree with Addik- but you have to do whichever aspect you are most comfortable with first. A lot of people believe they can manipulate ball speed but in my opinion it can be the toughest to master. Usually with carrydown I either move in deeper to get around it or go straighter outside of where I have been playing. More often than not I stick with the same ball. Often I find having a stronger hand release will also help get through the carrydown.

Yes, moving around on the lane is probably the best bet. But if you can, take the cover down to 400o or 2000 with no polish. You will find that ball will read better and not be a sensitive to carry down with those cover preps.
