cherry vibe?
« on: October 17, 2007, 10:52:41 AM »
i got a question about the cherry vibes coverstock. is it a solid reactive or is it a pearl? also do u think the cherry vibe would fit well under my anger and black widow pearl or would my widow and the vibe be to close.my widow is drilled pin under ring finger. should i just drill a cherry vibe for lenght with pin above ring?

Cherry is a pearl reactive. As far as fit goes, there should definitely be enough separation between the BWP and Cherry. And if it were me personally, I would go with the pin above drill. Play to the ball's strength you know? Hope this helps.

I also agree that there will be enough distance between the two balls.  Mine's drilled pin above ring with cg in the palm and I love it on the med-light to dry shot.  Don't let this ball fool you tho it can be stronger than advertised.

I agree that this ball is more for medium lane conditions then med-light. It has good length with great backend. Looks like it hooks more then my BWP.

As mentioned...its a pearl cover.

The ball will fit easily under both the Anger and BWP.

I have all three.  All 3 have the same pin to pap distance-all over the finger line (ignoring the MB on the pearl).

The Anger hooks the most and reads the earliest.  I normally am about 2-3 boards left with my feet than the BWP throwing at the same target.

When the lanes break down...throwing the at the same target...I normally still have to move back 2 boards right when switching from my BWP to the CV.

I have found this ball to very controllable.  It's a great dry lane ball when the heads are chewed up...it will push a little bit farther down lane when the BWP starts to become jumpy off the dry.
