Cherry vibe Vs. Blue vibe
« on: November 18, 2007, 11:02:59 AM »
i was looking into getting a vibe to go under my widow pearl and i was wondering which vibe would be more versatile and give me a different look compared to my BWP. Also which do u guys seem to find works better on dryer conditions without over under reactions BV or CV cause i heard CV was very snappy off the dry and the blue vibe was even arcing. so im just looking for a ball that would give me the biggest space to go under my BWP so im not saying y do i even need this ball.

I have had both of these balls. My blue one was just stacked over the ring finger. This ball was a rolling ball. Not really any big jerk, but it does cover a lot of boards. It out hooked my black widow by 5 boards. The cherry vibe I had the pin under the ring finger and cg kicked out bout 1/2 inch. 3 inch pin. This ball was very smooth off the dry. It got through the lane real well for how it was drilled.

Well none of these balls are really true dry lane balls.

Blue vibe all the way I have all three and the blue is by far the most versatile piece. The blue vibe has a very readable breakpoint and not to snappy exspecially if you take the shine off of the ball. Put it at 2000 grit with an abralon pad wet sanded with a ball spinner. Doing the ball by hand will not sand the ball as smooth as it can be done with a spinner and the reaction it sounds like your looking for I recommend a blue vibe at 2000 but done with a spinner. Gook luck.
