Deadly Aim surface change
« on: May 11, 2014, 08:14:58 AM »
Anyone change the surface on this ball? If so how did it take to it? I just got it and can use a little more length but it already comes out at 4000.

I also have one drilled pin up over middle finger cg positive no weighthole sorry i can't give you the numbers. But i also needed more length i was blaming a sore shoulder and dry lanes for the lack of length. This past week i glassed it up and had a better line to the pocket for my straight is great game and a more pronounced flip..

I would apply Ebonite Factory Finish Polish on the ball... The current surface is Clean & Sheen which is about 1500 grit polish on the ball... the FF polish will give you another 1-2 feet down the lane.

Hope this helps...

Correct.... Just add the FF polish on top...
If too long, then hit it with a 3000 pad, then FF polish.
