Hammer gear question
« on: May 22, 2008, 01:01:25 PM »
Hello HammerHeads

I've fallen in love with my new Black Widow Bite so here is my question, does anyone here throw the Black Widow Bite and the Black Widow Beaten?

Just wondering if it would be worth it to have both but if they are really similar I just might get another Black Widow Bite and keep it around 600-800 Grit and keep it for a heavier oil pattern.

I'm using the Black Widow Bite at OOB and on a THS and the freaking ball for me is money...I can finally say that as I always see everyone else say that and now I found a ball that fits my style like a glove....saweeeet!

Why not wait for the BW Venom to come out this summer?

Big Jake i have both balls the Bite along with the Beatn.  To me they are both extremly good pieces to have in your arsenal.  The Beatn is a ton earlier than the Bite. If i was you I think I would wait for maybe the Venom or the Physco maybe.

I have both of these balls, and I love them.  I like the Bite, on a THS.  I shot an 805 with it actually this year.  However, when I went to the state tournament this past weekend, I couldn't get the Bite to turn the corner, so I pulled out the Beat'n, and it worked great.  Had a consistent shot all weekend and shot a 2041 scratch over 9 games.  The Beat'n hooks up a lot sooner than the Bite does, but both are great balls, and could fill different spots in your arsenal.
