Hammer is showing their new spare ball. It's called Muddy Girl Camo. Hopefully they show more soon.

Dave, are you on staff with EBI? Because let's be honest, their equipment has been holding TJ back more so than he underachieving. Which I feel the same way with Rash and Brunswick. But that's a whole nother topic.

the man made 3 out of 4 TV shows this past week
and we just got done talking about the fact that these guys are good with any ball in their hands
how is Barnes doing since he left, clearly Columbia equipment was holding him back, right?
Barnes just won over $85k in Japan throwing 900 Global a couple months ago. Yes 900 Global not Columbia 300.  900>300.

Thanks bowling man. Now that TJ can pick between 35 different balls between the 4 companies, I'd hope he could make something work. So like I said, it is obvious that EBI was holding him back.

I meant EBI as in the parent company. They as a company  were limiting him to the junk that only had an E on it. I bet he doesn't throw another E labeled ball besides a GB for quite sometime.

Also, in Barnes' defense, Barnes opted to bowl the QubicaAMF World Cup instead of the WSOB. That's why he wasn't there. BTW: He won the World Cup with C300.

Every and any actual Tour National staffer (excluding PBA regional) on EBI were able to throw any EBI brand during WSOB qualifying... Just on the show (TJ) would only be able to throw E.
It is only now with this new move that any (minus Adam Barta, Les Mann and Shawn Lee; sidenote) EBI staffer can throw any of the brands qualifying, show, or otherwise.

I am well aware. TJ has been throwing Track and Columbia off air for years. I have bowled a few non sanctioned tournaments against him and wouldn't have an E ball in the building. On T and C300 balls.

Hammer new announced releases:

Red Legend Solid
Viral Solid

For some reason I took a good guess that the coverstock used on the Red Legend Solid would be the Juiced. Both seem like good additions though.

I'm thinking that the Red Legend could be a good replacement for my B. W. Assassin if I don't get the Bad Intentions!!!  ;D ;D ;D

Finally we are getting a SOLID coverstock on the Viral / Vibe core.... it's been a long time coming, but I am going to really enjoy throwing this ball as I LOVE the Vibe core.

The Red Legend Solid will be a great compliment for a STRONG version of the Legend / Black Widow series... Juiced coverstock is similar as the Bad Intentions / Bad Ass series, so this will offer a strong motion throughout the lane & a nice backend motion throughout the pin decks.  This will be the stronger/earlier motion for the Legend series!

I can't wait for the Viral Solid! I missed out on a chance to get a Vibe twice now! (Emerald and Cobalt)
The Viral seemed too skid/flippy with that cover. I was hoping they went this route. Now I'm just waiting for something like the Jet Black again.
League: Pitch Purple, Destiny Magenta
Testing: MVP
Interests: Black Widow, Proof Solid, Idol Pearl

Michael, would you choose the Red Legend Solid to replace the BWL? Granted, you're looking at solid vs. Hybrid, and a different ball motion down the lane.. I see spots in my bag for both and already have the BWL, and could almost see the Red Legend Solid overlapping the ALF Solid I have.

If the Red Legend Solid does overlap the ALF Solid, I'd stick with the ALF Solid, as it would be a good benchmark ball, plus I've always liked blue over red (the main reasons I chose the Blue and Blue Pearl Fab Hammers over the Red and Red Pearl). :)

I doubt the Arson Low Flare solid would overlap with the Red Legend Solid. Both are completely different balls designed for different conditions

BradL .....  The Red Legend SOLID will be a much stronger overall ball than the original Legend. From what I have heard (Still waiting on my seed balls), the RLS will be about 5 boards stronger overall than the Legend at the same surface prep, due to the coverstock change.

The Red Legend Solid (RLS) will be a much stronger ball than the Arson Low Flare series as the ALF series are definitely perfect for the benchmark ball look (medium patterns) that people love, but the RLS will also be stronger down the lane as well.

Hope this helps...
