Hammer Vs Brunswick
« on: June 03, 2007, 11:03:12 AM »
Im looking to buy a new ball all i have now is an old columbia 300 with not much reaction. i throw down an in straight up the 10th board. I have low revs and slow to medium speed. anytime i throw just a little to fast it goes weak. i want a ball that will helpmove my shot into about the 11 to 14 board and out to like the 7th or 8th and give me an shot thats not arcing and not realy angular. would any of these balls be good.Hammer Doom ,Hammer Toxic or Bvp Wizard.if i was to buy a second ball i dont want it to overlape with the first what would be a good second choice. o and i also already havee a spare ball.

The new Raw Hammer Anger would be very fitting for what you want.  Also, something to go with that would be the Cherry Vibe.

Barb
my A game is down/in board 10-8 is my starting point and two balls that work great for myself are the:
1) Brunswick Fury early rolling w/a strong backend
2) Hammer Toxic goes long w/a strong backend
I am not completely rev challenged but to contol my balls at time I can use a up/back release they work good together.

I'd recomend the Black Widow.  I have a weaker layout on mine that works well for the kind of line that you are trying to get to.  One question though, if it's not arcing or angular, then how is it going to get back to the pocket throwing that line?

I would recommend the BW or NM.

Made in USA vs Made in Mexico
Performance of Brunswick balls has suffered since the move I believe.
