Help w/ Widow layout
« on: February 05, 2007, 07:14:53 AM »
I'm about to buy a Black Widow, and need a little help laying it out.  My PAP is 5 1/4 over, 1/2 up.  What kind of layout would get me a nice even roll that I could use in some heavier volume oil and sport conditions.  Ball speed at the pin deck is around 17 to 18 MPH and my revolutions are moderate to high, but can change axis tilt, revs, and speed to adjust.  Just looking for some ideas as to what I can do layout wise.  Any help would be appreciated.

For heavier oil I would drill it with the pin around the 4" to 4 1/2" to pap range.  Kick the MB close to your VAL which should be around 4" right of your thumb.  This will allow the BW to get into it's roll earlier.

Keep the pin below the fingers to give you and earlier read and smoother down lane reaction.
