This ball is very impressive, If you ever threw the old 3D offset, you will like this ball alot. The motion is very similar, and rolls great with the surface either sanded or shiny.

There are bigger hooking balls out there, but this is a great complement to any arsenal!

I would recommend this ball, especially since it is not at the highest price point.

I laid this ball out 3 3/8" by 3 3/8" from my PAP (positive axis point). I did not need a weight hole.

I tried this on a sport shot and our normal house shot. I was able to play anywhere from up the 2 board to 4th arrow out to the 5 board and get the ball back.

The ball makes a nice midlane arcing motion to the pocket. Very easy to read what the ball is going to do.

This ball will be a solid ball in my bag for reading the lanes when I travel. I am sorry to say that I am probably the only person on the Planet that never tried the Original 3-D Offset High Rev, but I now wish I would have.

you can tell when a ball is a winner, when everyone wants to know what you're using it's a very good sign. i layed this ball out w/ the pin at 4in. and the cg at 2in. from my pap. weight hole is 1in. by 2in. deep on my val 2 in. below my pap. i agree that this is a good ball to get a read on the lanes. reacts well on every lane type i've used it on so far. a little weak on heavy oil and a little to strong on toast, but covers light med to heavy medium conditons w/ a strong and consistent reaction. this ball will be in my bag for a long time i believe.good lob hammer!

Drilled this ball up at the ABC Tournament about 30 minutes before Doubles and Singles.

4 1/2 x 3 1/2 no extra hole.

Now I did not bowl the greatest series of my life. I shot 221- 165- 213- 599 for Doubles and Bowled even worse in singles.

I just didn't make the needed adjustment soon enough during doubles and was scared to get deeper during singles. 10th frame of the last game, I pulled my head out of my A.. and made a move to in front of the ball return played 5th arrow out to the outer rangefinders down the lane and watched the ball do its magic.

Now with that being said and having 20/20 hindsight. I could have shot "area" codes with this ball as I found out the ball will create it's own room.

Congrats to the boys from Hopkinsville for resurecting this ball from the dead.

Drilled 4 x 4 (PAP 4 1/2Rt and 1" Up) No X-Hole
Really what this layout looks like is a stack over the ring finger.

Ball revs up in the midlane and provides a very hard arc to the pocket. I've yet to see it rollout from ANY angle on the lane. Playing 17 with some hit, or playing straighter with more forward roll the ball just refuses to stop hooking. This is the hardest hitting ball I've seen in quite some time, and I think Hammer really found something with this ball. First night I used in league I shot 215-247-226. Instead of a ball change, I was able to chase the shot inward as they changed and didn't sacrifice any pin carry. As a matter of fact, I like this ball when the backends tightened up. It was able to cut through the carrydown and still not quit when it hit the pocket.

Overall I'm very happy with this ball, and will be stocking up on these to have to drill for a very long time.

Drilled one 3" pin and 3 1/4 top, stack right above ring finger and kicked out 1/2" to positive side. At first I struggled on the wet and couldn't get the ball back from the 9-10 board releasing around 20, med-speed, med-rev, 45 deg tilt. Stayed there and moved mark down the lane and out to the 4-5 board at around 35' and still didn't recover. Moved right 15 to 5 and got to the pocket and plaqued 10's 5 times in a row. I was ready to put this ball away, instead I flattened my revs, pinned the ball straight up 7-8 and got good reaction and good carry, not great. 158-175-214 for a 224 average. I STRUGGLED! I was ready to throw this thing out

Tried it 2 days later, 3rd game of a house shot 7 to 7 and 800 unit of oil in the middle and lots of carrydown. From 15 to 7-8, couldn't miss!!! Except for the 12th shot, took some speed off, went through the face for a 5 COUNT! 295!!!
I was embarrassed, but loved the reaction on that condition. There must have been too much wet/dry for the ball 2 days before.

I just got a High Rev and with only about 10 games on it, i have to say i am very impressed with its reaction and how hard it hits. I have it with a 2-3 in. pin, and 3.14 oz top weight. It so far has been a very versatile ball and it allows me to play up the 2 board and then go back and play fourth arrow the next shot. I have it drilled with the pin under the bridge, the cg swung out on the grip line with a hole. Can't say too much so far but i'll keep u updated. I have 740 out the box with it, so i can't complain.

i have found my new benchmark ball...this ball clears the heads with ease and being that its a low rg ball it starts to pick up its roll pretty quickly and just like what its name states the ball starts to come alive and picks up its rev down the lane with a very predictable move towards the pocket...i wouldn't necessarily say that it is a flippy ball but it can cover a good amount of boards even with some carrydown. what i like most about this ball is what it does to the pins once it hits as it sends pins flying left and right in a sweeping motion good for those nasty corners pins that just wouldn't go down at times...my only disappointment is probably not getting this ball sooner that i should've had...plus this ball comes at a bargain considering that it is not priced as high as the other high-end balls out in the market...
overall i would rate this ball a 9/10
i guess its true what they say...nothing hits like a hammer...

I got a 15lb with a 2-3in pin and 3oz top. I don't know much about drilling layouts. Mine is similar to the low rg/strong layout on the Hammer website but the pin was placed above the middle of my fingers and a weight hole on my PAP. I have to say that this ball is amazing! I got about 5 games on a med-heavy house shot. I throw about 15-16mph with medium revs and I was able to play mutiple angles and was able get the ball back into the pocket stong. Highly recommend this ball!!

I got this ball when it first came out. I have fallen in love with this baby. I bowled my first 700 series of the year tonight 224, 254, 232. The ball reaction is very consistent just as advertised. The only drawback is when the lanes are too wet and the backends disappear, put this baby away and go to the Big Deal. This is defiantly my benchmark ball. Great job Hammer. Now that you have brought back the 21st century's version of the 3d offset, how about a new version of the Sledgehammer.

This ball is the nicest rolling and hardest hitting ball i have ever thrown, it does not over hook in dry and rolls nice in oil, not an over/under ball, i have not been close to an 800 or a 300 in a while, actually awhile since i was consistently shooting 700's, now the second week i have had it i have averaged 259 consisting with two sets in the 770's, won 1 side pot, and 2 super pots and now the ball is paid for with money in my pocket, the lanes break down you can swing it more without suffering carry, not many 10 pins left, most of the 10's left was the bowler not the ball. If the lane carry down you can play tighter and score, i thought i would never buy a hammer but after watching my brother get it after the first week and go 300, 299 back to back i was impressed. I have new confidence in hammer with this one, highly recommend this ball to anyone, my brother and myself are power players but have seen people that have had less roll than us do well also

Lane conditions- multiple, from house conditions, to Summer Sport pattern
Layout(s)-
Ball 1- 5" PIN to PAP 60* layout with pin under ring finger.
Surface: Box condition

Ball 2- 5" PIN to PAP 90* layout with pin above ring finger.
Surface: Polished to high shine

This ball is very versatile and roll well on all conditions. The cover is very versatile as well. The shiny cover works well on THS conditions with wet/dry. This ball is SUPER clean through the front part of the lane reguardless of surface prep, but has a different reaction at the dry. The dull ball will "jerk" more off of the spot, while the shiny one revs and arcs hard off the dry.

This currently is the benchmark ball in my arsenal.

This ball has quickly become my favorite ball in my bag. It rolls similar to the V2 and is great on a wide variety of conditions. The ball motion is smooth on every condition I have thrown it on. I would recommend this ball to ALL bowlers. This ball is great on house shots and in a tournament bowlers arsenal.

Finally found enough oil in my summer league to try out my new High Rev. Summer shot here is a typical light medium XMas tree pattern 35 feet that transitions really quick to Sahara Desert. I had it drilled straight up over the label for max length. First off, this is one incredibly strong ball. Its not jerky off the dry but just a really hard arc. It revs up really nice after it clears the heads. Carry was pretty incredible on light, solid and heavy pocket hits. Only left two 10 pins out of 30 frames which was great. I did however leave four 7 pins which was puzzling as I am right handed. Although its just after one night with it, but I can see this ball replacing my Diesel Particle solid as my benchmark ball in my arsenal. It has that consistant of a read to the lanes. I give this ball a 9.5 out of 10.
