Hello Group
 I am looking for a good heavy-oil ball and it seems that I keep coming up with these 3:

1) 900 Global Bounty Hunter

2) Jigsaw Corner

3) Jacked

 The price for the Jacked just can't be beat so for you guys that are throwing the Jacked could you report back in and tell me your thought on this ball and what type of oil conditions you like it on.

 My shot now-a-days is just playing up the boards, thanks guys!

The Jacked will handle more oil than the Corner & Bounty Hunter.

The Corner is best for broken down conditions out of box surface - very clean with a strong backend finish. Needs friction to the right to excel.

I would drill a Jacked with your favorite layout and you will be happy with the purchase!

disagree with Plowboy on Bounty Hunter... Jacked will be more than Jigsaw Corner, but still less than Bounty Hunter

Ok first I havent thrown the jacked but all I can say is what I have seen!!!! The jack can handle oil dont get me wrong but plowboy ia  Hammer rep!!!! I can swing my bounty hunter on the shark!!!!! msybe u can maybe not!!!! with out some details i cant say!!!!!!

Interesting that a ball with a higher RG and at 4000grit design for "oily conditions"(which means med-heavy) would be better than a ball with a lower RG at 1000grit designed for "HEAVY OIL". Now if you take the Bounty Hunter down to 1000grit you have a case to make.

I'm sure you would be happy with both balls, but the Hunters cover is definately stronger then the Jacked, because as stated before, its the original widow cover. With that being said, if at 1000, i'm sure it can handle most any condition if you have any hand. If you are a rev challenged player... the Bounty Hunter hands down. In my hands the Hunter was burning up on even the heaviest oil, and had to be polished!

You forgot to take into consideration  the bounty hunter has a extremely strong light load particle coverstock

i've seen the Bounty Hunter in action and that ball can handle heavier oil than the Jacked. Now I do think that the Jacked will handle some tough oil conditions but not the flood the BH can. I bowled against a friend that had one and I had the Jigsaw, that outhooked mine but his was at 500 and mines was at 1000 polished. He called my JS overrated but i beat him with a 762 to his 623.

In OOB surface, with the same layout as my Jig Saw, pin over bridge, CG kicked right, it's about 5 boards stronger.

Right now I haven't got to throw it alot, because it's just too much ball for our house shot, so it'll be a tournament ball. I'm ready to get on a heavier pattern and see how it does.

Thanks guys for your replies. I also am thinking about the Roto-Grip "Mutant Cell".

And right now its between the "Mutant Cell" and the "Bounty Hunter", I must admit watching WRIII throw the "Bounty Hunter" today on TV was pretty good .

I would take the bowlers journal review with a grain of salt. As it has the Cell Pearl as hooking more then the Magic action.. probably not even close!!! I have thrown both and there is no way in the hell that ball out hooks the magic action! Matter fact it has every storm/roto ball rated over what they actually do except for the ones named in here and the virtual gravity.

Jacked won't be a major oiler. My pin under grip center cg stacked at oob can handle any fresh league shot I have found. I would not expect it to be a monster on shark but I am sure you could find a line considerins you play down and in. The jacked is good as a versatile solid capable of handling heavy conditions but not in the same league as a mutant or bounty hunter.
