Jigsaw Corner - First Impression!
« on: December 19, 2009, 12:46:32 AM »
I was blessed with the incredible honor to receive this ball from Hammer! I couldn't wait to drill it and I went with a 41/4" pin to pap with the mb just right of thumb, as recommended by Hammer for low track players which placed the pin above my middle finger.(55deg x 4-1/4" x 40deg) The lanes were playing a little tighter than last week and I played 22 with my feet hitting 12 at the arrows out to 8 at the outside range finder(pro anvil lanes). I first didn't think the ball was going to do anything, but slide 50 feet, but at the break point it crossed over on the brooklyn side. I moved a little deeper and made sure to keep the ball outside and was impressed with what I saw. I decided to try my Hot Sauce and played the same line and it barely made it back to the head pin and left a 7 pin. I decided to use it in league and see what happens and did manage to shoot 278 the second game with a 722 series, nothing major, but a very solid first time using this ball. A few people asked what I using cause it's pretty cool looking and hits very hard! I'll try to get some pictures posted of the ball and layout. The Jigsaw Corner is probably going to be my new favorite ball.
