Continuation is the name of the game.

JIGSAW - drilled 70D (DA)
The Jigsaw is definitely continuous. I motion is strong through the mids and finishes the second transition in hard roll fashion. The key to this layout and ball reaction was control the mids. On the THS the JIgsaw was able to follow the oil line and make a continuos motion through the mids while recovering to the finish. On the modified Cheetah (for kicks) it was definitely a get out of the way, don't miss and be careful what you ask for reaction. You definitely have turn here.

I am going to start out by saying this is a totally diffrent ball reaction than I have seen in the Hammer Line or any other line. Next thing I have to say about this ball is the color....this ball looks great and I cannot wait to have these sitting on my shelf in the shop. Now lets talk about ball reaction..... first off I cannot believe how easy this ball gets down the lane ! I really thought I would have trouble getting this ball down the lane after the front of the lane started breaking down..but to my suprise it took alot of frames to get this ball to start going too early. Then when I started chasing the pattern in the JIGSAW would still keep turning the corner. This ball wouldn't quit even as far left as 30. I have NEVER had any ball continue like this one.....and I a very excited about the new JIGSAW line and I look forward to adding more products in this line to my arsenal!!!! This is just one more reason I am happy to be apart of TEAM HAMMER !

I have been throwing The Jigsaw now for about 2 weeks now and feel as though the reaction just keeps getting better and better with each additional game. Since drilling this ball I have posted an 803 series (268-269-266) and a 299 game (stone 8 pin).

The Jigsaw gives me a very even and predictable roll with amazing hit and carry. Due to the fact I prefer to play a down and in shot, this ball is ideal because it allows me to play in my comfort zone without fear of the ball over reacting in the back part of the lane. The couple of times I had to step left, however, the ball never showed any sign of quit as it came back to the pins. In my opinion this ball would benefit a bowler looking to play a tighter or more direct line versus the bowler looking to wheel the whole lane. In the end I feel The Jigsaw to be a great addition to an already phenomenal product line and would recommend it to anyone looking for a strong, yet controllable ball reaction.

My last four balls have been back with Hammer. The Black widow pearl, Black Widow Bite, Hot Sauce Pearl, and now the Jigsaw. Love all these balls and have no problems going from one to the other. This Jigsaw has got to be the most forgiving ball I have ever had. With the Hot Sauce I would at times get lost when the lanes would transition. With this Jigsaw, I am never lost and can throw down and in, or go completely left throwing extremely out! It is very predictable.

Literally I am like a kid again with this ball and excited to throw it every time out. My mind set with this ball is great because it really clears the rack. My average is right around 210. Have only had it a few weeks and all of my games have been in the 220 to 260 range.

I drilled my Jigsaw with the pin 4 1/2x55x30 with a weight hole in the p2 position.I took the surface to 500 abralon and sanded with 4000 abralon the same as they do at the plant.This is one huge hook monster.If you want something to hook in the heavier patterns dont look any further.It reads the midlane and has a very quick transsition at the breakpoint and with great continuation.You can move into the puddle and it reads the lane and keeps coming with no quit.

I'm not sure about my drill pattern or pin placement. It's above my ring finger with a balance hole.
My first impression was, I can throw a raw egg harder than this ball hits in the backend. I told the pro shop I wasn't impressed, he asked why, I explained to him that it wasn't crushing the pins like he said it would. He said it was losing energy and he put a polish on it. WOW!!! 1st game 246 (summer league avg 173), now I'm impressed, it has the energy and backend hitting power. I thought my Ebonite NVD could shatter pins, this ball has so much more crushing the pocket power.

I have been looking at the Jigsaw for a wile trying to figure out if I was going to get it or the Wild Thing. I was leaning more toward the Jigsaw ever since I first saw the video. It really caught my eye. My driller was recommending the Wild Thing and talked me in to getting it instead But when I went in for my appointment he had the Wild Thing sitting out waiting for me with the Jigsaw sitting next to it. I know he ordered one and had it there because he knew that was my original choice and I really wanted one. So wile waiting for him to drill up a ball for someone else I thought about it and chose the Jigsaw. I am so happy I did!!!

I wanted the ball to be long and strong. So we went with a layout of 5x45x30. The pin ended up 1.5 inches above the bridge of my fingers and the MB 1 inch right of my thumb hole with a hole .5x1.5 inches straight through the pin to take out some finger weight to make the ball legal(the pin only 3 inches from the CG) due to a short pin distance.

I wanted this ball to go really long with a strong angular motion on even heavy oil. What I got was a ball with good length(not as long as I was hopping but still good)with an angular motion on fresh lanes and strong hook. On broken down lanes with carry down it has a smoother reaction and still hooks just as hard. I play vary deep with this ball. It will always come back if I miss right(cant miss much though as my break point is 7-5 board) with an occasional 9 pin leave due to it coming back to hard and will hold to a tight inside line if I miss left. This ball crushes the pocket no matter what with a continuation like I have never had in a ball yet.

For my first Hammer ball since I bought my old urethane burgundy Hammer it was an excellent choice and I highly recommend this ball to everyone. Don't miss this one!!!!

Drilled this ball just like my BW with a pin down under the ring and the CG and MB in a straight line below it. This freakin ball hooks! I have it set up like this because I wanted it to start rolling early, yet have a lot of backend to jump off of the gutter. Thats exactly what it does too. Even if you miss your mark to the right and this ball gets to the 1 board, its gonna come screaming back into the pocket!...well thats what this ball and drilling does for me...

Holy Cow!

Had this drilled out with the pin above the bridge. I am a stroker/tweener and wanted something kind of aggressive for a house shot, yet still useable on some tournament conditions.

First league night, 193, 248, 246. A bunch of strikes, missed two ten pins, and one 4 -9 (buried). I did not have to move much at all, even though everyone else was pulling it through the nose in the last game. I kept the speed firm, swung it out, and let it tear back like a banshee. The ball held great, and hit very hard. Very much liked the look.

Short review. 15lbs 3" pin 3.5 top weight

Pin 5.5" from PAP above my right finger, MB 5.25" from my PAP next to the thumb, CG on center grip line.

Out of the box it was lightly dull and didn't do much for me. Most dull equipment doesn't. Shinned the ball with some Track clean and tacky and got the desired reaction and finish I was looking for and expected.

Usually I play about 16 to 16.5mph as a stroker playing the middle out to around the 7 board, and if there is more oil I will move further right and play up the boards. Occasionally I will slow my ball speed and move further right to go to more of a cranker and play 25 or 30 to 10 when the lanes call for it.

This ball playing as a stroker is amazing.

The ball is clean through the heads and rolls extremely strong on the back end. This is a medium to heavy oil ball. It hooks a ton. More then anything I've had so far. The ball hooks strong and never stops finishing. It also hits the pins hard and carries very well.

It is an expensive ball compared to most internet releases but it was well worth it. Wow!!!

to start off, i wanted a ball that i could use at the center i now work/bowl at. so i looked at the jigsaw. i saw in btm that it was very much a strong and reliable ball on the kegel high street pattern, which we use at this house. so i decided, after averaging in practice, about a constant 170ish, to look into, and eventually purchase this ball. i could not have been happier that i did. but i also regret it.

this ball has a very very short pin, maybe a 1/4 of an inch. but me and my driller worked it out to where the pin is even with the ring finger, and the cg is kicked outwards about 30* or so. there is a balance hole on the VAL about the midline.

so i started league tonight, on a fresh shot, and was amazed at the consistency, reaction, and hitting power this ball really had. i missed the pocket only but a few times, and left mostly single pin spares that i converted. but as everyone else was throwing the ball on the outside 5-10 boards, i was comfortably playing right between 15-20, with a breakpoint at bout 40-45 feet at the 8 or 9 board. now i normally average around a 197 at other houses in the area, but tonight, with the jigsaw i was incredibly amazed at how much it retained its versatility and power, and how little i had to move. for my first official 3 games with this ball were: 243, 222, 236, for a 701 series, and a 233 average. needless to say i am very, very pleased with this ball and the amazing people at hammer working to bring us amazing balls like this piece. the ball rolled incredibly smooth for me and didnt jump at the break point or skid thru it like my other pieces do. rather it did what it was built to do, and that is, to hook in oil. so i am a very happy user of this amazing piece from hammer and will hopefully continue to use it with such great success.

God can forgive but the JIGSAW...no..the JIGSAW is a hooking monster and hits like a hammer.it doesnt forgive the pins. And let me say that our oil pattern this season is damn heavy!
This ball is THE BALL!!!
forget the virtual gravitys and etc. etc. Nothing compaires with the JIGSAW, the ball of the year.
This is the most hooking ball i've ever thrown!
Highly reccomended!You won't regret it!!!

I Just got my JigSaw a few months ago, I'm a stroker/Tweener and had the ball drilled for maximum h00k.
I got to tell you all that I don't even have to try to hook this ball, I just release and this ball will do the same thing every time, If I hit my mark the Jigsaw hits the pocket harder then any ball I've had and punches right on through the pin deck!
And I wipe my Ball before every shot and the jigSaw Hardly picks up and oil from the lanes, The JigSaw is Great!!

Layout: Pin 5 1/2 from pap with 50 x 70 dual angle layout. My PAP is 4 3/4, rev rate 375, and avg ball speed 16.5 mph

I have found that I've had better success on asymmetrical cores with the pin 5 plus inches from my pap. So with the aggressive nature of the coverstock finish I opted to put the pin 5 1/2 from my pap because I wanted to try and keep the ball from burning up to fast. Even doing this did not keep the ball from reading the lane early for me. I am not a big fan of the Jigsaw in box finish. The picked up nice in the mids but that was about it. I had no pop down the lane. After throwing it this way I put a hole threw the mass bias (27/32 bit 2 inches deep). This gave me some more pop down the lane. I still felt I could get this ball to give me the look I generally desire. With this in mind I decided to alter the coverstock. I refinished the ball with a 500, 1000, and then 2000 abralon pad. This worked magic! Now the ball read teh midlane just the way I like but gave me a stronger motion off the spot and a lot more pin action.

In conclusion I'd say the Jigsaw is great for straighter more revved challenged players in box finish. For tweeners or higher rev players, success will be found in altering the coverstock.
