One of our staff members (Greg) throwing a few shots with the new Hammer Dark Legend Solid.

First game out of the box with this new ball was very impressive. Ball is at box finish of 500/2000 (which is one of my personal favorite finishes to use) great for allowing the ball to get down lane some before really digging in. Definitely a great heavy oil ball at box finish. Something to consider for this fast approaching 2016/2017 season.

Ball is drilled with a 5" pin to PAP. (no x-hole) Greg has a little slower speed with around a 260 rev rate. He prefers playing in the middle of the lane or a little deeper, and this ball does a great job of allowing him to do that with no issues on recovery.

Someone in my league used the ball. The bowler released at 28-27 and the ball entered at 23 to 22, he is left-handed. It kept its speed all the way down the lane. The ball put 10 in the pit alot.

For a Widow and assymetric core, that core/cover combo and finish makes that ball look really smooth, and that's given that this is a solid.

Not necessarily something to use as a benchmark, but would you call this ball controllable? or is it too much of a heavy rolling ball?

Does not remember much more as it was in September, but I remember, seeing the sexy spider , (one of the better logos?) on the ball  that his ball was very loud the whole way down the lane so I think roller.

Very user friendly with surface adjustments. At box finish it is strong,  and can handle heavy oil.
