pyscho vs. toxic
« on: August 01, 2008, 11:50:31 AM »
iwas just fine tuning my aresenal before the college season and i realized my toxic was cracking around the ring finger. Tho it is not a big problem now, it will be later in the season. Would u all recommend the pyscho as a replacment, and if not, what else would u suggest. keep in mind this space in my arsenal is used for transitioning lanes usually between my polished gamebreaker and original inferno. Thank you for any help

The Psycho is a little more of a rolly ball compared to the Toxic. the Toxic will give you more flip and over/under than the Psycho will. Psycho still has a strong move to the pocket off of the dry though. To me, the Psycho is a good transition ball because of the roll and hit it provides.

I like the Psycho, because the roll allows me to play closer to the friction. I also like the color alot better than the Toxic.

Toxic is flippier but if sanded slightly it evens things out nicely.  The few times I have seen the psycho it looks very even and smooth off the friction, more so than the toxic sanded slightly.

Video Ball Reviews uses the Toxic as a comparison to the Psycho... Don't know if the Toxic's cover is fresh like the Psycho though.

I think you will love the Psycho better as I feel it is cleaner through the fronts than the Toxic, but it is a rolly ball in the backends. I have 3 Psychos and have replaced 2 of the Toxic (which I used to love). I just love the way the Psycho gets through the heads and gives me a little roll in the backends. I have a higher rev rate than most others, so this ball compliments the way that my game.

Put your favorite drill pattern on the Psycho and see for yourself on why most of the regional bowlers out here on the West Coast love this ball. Let me know if you have any questions!
