Road Hawg
« on: December 31, 2005, 08:33:19 AM »
Just wondering if there are any details.  Alot of hammer stuff is light load particle, but the cut throat reactive just came out on the hawg wild.  I also have to wonder what gap they are going to fill as hammer has some of the best heavy oil stuff already.  The last medium oil high performange ball they came out with was the deal, I think its time for an update

I got an email from Brian Graham. He said this:

"The new Road Hawg is set for release in late January and will provide more length and stronger backend than the Big Deal and Hawg Wild.  The Road Hawg is best used on medium to heavy oil and can easily be polished for more length."

he means the oil absorption rate...
The One is 10.7  the Road Hawg is 10.9 ...

Its a new fad starting, hope it don't make the ball fill up with oil 2 fast.

Both balls are asyemetric.

So is this ball going to be great on heavy oil or will the big deal or hawg be best on oil.

THIS BALL WILL SMOKE ANY BALL ON HEAVY OIL... ESPECIALLY THE BIG DEAL.

The new open pore veneer lets oil into the ball so it makes better contact with the lane in oil.

I just hope the ball doesn't fill up with oil to fast.

10.9 is the oil absobtion rate.

I doubt that only because it's basically a copy of The One. I haven't seen it but I have a Big Deal, So i say good luck to the Road Hawg attempting to knock The B.D. out of top spot. The Hawg was supposed to do the same and i've outbowled every person who has the hawg in league, And their averages are higher than mine.

Go to Hammer's home page click on products. The Road Hawg's icon with picture and specs are there. Just click on it and your questions should be answered. Also click on the news section, they have a write up about it also.
