Viral Solid vs Arson Low Flare
« on: February 12, 2016, 12:03:55 PM »
Anyone have a good comparison between the two.  I would most likely knock the shine off the Viral and take it to 4000.  Probably do the same with the Arson.  Looking for something smooth off the spot for short patterns that I can stay out with.

are you talking the low flare pearl or solid? i have the low flare solid and i havent drilled a viral yet but i would consider myself a "vibe" aficionado and the low flare solid is definitely earlier and less motion downlane. without knowing your release specs i would go with one of the arson low flares for the fresh with surface. if getting both is an option i think they would compliment each other

Yea, I was thinking low flare solid.  Low rev stroker with medium speed.  I love my IQ tour at 2000, but looking for something a bit tamer with similar smooth motion off the end of the oil.   However, I love the Vibe core.  I have the old Cobalt Blue and will probably never part with it as a condition ball on a lot of flat patterns.

sounds like the low flare solid would be the way to go. i also have the iq solid as my benchmark ball and the low flare solid essentially is the same ball with a tad weaker cover on it allowing it to be a little cleaner up front but still be super smooth down lane. i would start at 2000 with it and take that clean and sheen or whatever they have OOB on it right off and go from there
