What Hammer ball is equivilent to....?
« on: April 16, 2008, 03:09:47 PM »
Ive gone through 3 Black Ebonite V2s and Im looking for a Hammer ball that has an equivilent core and coverstock. The Black V2 has been cracking on me and Ive switched all my equipment over to Hammer now. Can someone please offer some advice?

thanks

Its crazy to say but they way the V2 I have left is drilled, it hooks more than the Bite and the Widow. Its a wheelhouse! Ive never been an Ebonite fan but i just couldnt get over how much I lvoed this ball. Its getting harder and harder to replace each one. Ive got most of the current Hammer balls. I was hoping for just one that mirrored the V2.

I dont have the Blue Vibe yet. I may get that and drill it the same as my V2 and see how it compares.

why not just get a gamebreaker?  same core, stronger cover.
even if you are a hammer loyalist, they are still made by the same company...

Agreed. You like your V2 then get a Gamebreaker hands down. Same strong early revving core with the coverstock to power through todays oil.

Honestly, just get a gamebreaker or wait for a playmaker and knock the shine off of it.  There's no sense in switching cores if you don't have to.

If you are set on Hammer it might take a couple of tries to get it right.  I agree with lsf_21.  Drill a Blue Vibe strong and knock it down to 2000.

If you want a Black V2 I have one in my shop fully plugged and resurfaced.  Just let me know.
