All excellent pieces and excellent choices.  I've thrown them all and enjoyed throwing all of them.  Especially the Heist Pearl.  One of my favs.

Gunny, In your profile you also have a Blue Heist, how did this compare to the solid?

The blue heist is a backend monster.  Mine has a weak drilling on it, it gets easy length and a monster backend.  A lot stronger than anticipated.

Heist Pearl is quite strong. I wanted this to be an even arching ball that could be used on multiple patterns and used a dual angle layout. 80* x 5" x 45*. This ball initially was very jumpy off the dry and I dulled the surface to just 4000 Abralon and this really mellowed the reaction off the dry. This ball clears the heads nicely and has plenty of energy at the pin deck. I do find it still stronger than needed on a house shot. I tend to go with more speed and a weaker hand position when using it on a THS. I really like this on sport patterns as it is very versatile using multiple hand positions and speeds. Definitely one for tournament conditions.

Thanks for your input. Was thinking of drilling the Heist pearl first, being that I had a solid drilled a few yrs ago. Heading to Reno to bowl the nationals. I may just drill this and the Sideways to take.
