Respect
Drilling:   Pin between fingers stacked
Surface:   OOB 1500 Polish
Lane condition:   41 ft THS
Description:   This ball deserves all the respect. One of the strongest shiny balls I've thrown recently. The coverstock is extremely aggressive, and it matches well with the tetra symmetric core that was showcased earlier this year in the Moxie. This ball will get more length than the Moxie with an extremely aggressive backend motion. One aspect about this ball that I've seen so far is the fact that it allows me to play many different angles due to the forgiving core dynamics. If I want to play up the boards, it allows me to do that on the fresh because of the clean length through the covers, but if I want to move into the lane and fight some of the oil it still will roll strong. If you are looking for the go to ball on a med-heavy shot this will be a great choice.

Likes:  I drilled this ball with the pin above the ring finger with cg pretty stacked.  think it was 4 1/2 pin to pap.  First house I tried it on has really crisp backends and the Respect would clear the heads very easily and then just snap once it hit the backends.  I could literally play as deep as I wanted at this house and not worry about the Respect not making it back to the pocket.  At the other house this ball really had a good look and roll.  Cleared the heads very well and made a nice move on the backend, but a very controllable move.  I could also play a lot deeper than I could with the Dream without the Respect getting squirty in the oil.  Very good core with cover matchup and will be a great ball for anyone looking for a shiny ball that is aggressive.  I am hoping to drill another one of these with a pin down layout to control the backend a little bit more.  Will do another review with that ball.

Length: 41ft THS

I drilled mine with the pin next to the ring with a hole 1" down off my PAP of 5. I would be speed dominant with a high revs player. No surface change 730 OOB. This ball gets through the heads clean and has a very strong back end motion. Strong polished ball with a continuous not skid flip back end motion. The Respect is the ball when you need to get through the heads on fresh conditions, or when you have to get in and hook it. Order yours today at K&K Bowling Services Las Vegas.

I drilled my respect pin above middle finger(5 1/2')pin. the ball easily clears the heads and has a strong backend motion (a little more angular than my other equipment.Have used the Respect on Fresh with great ball motion and even when you move to 5 arrow it is clean and you can open up the lane. I would say this the strongest pearl ball that i have ever thrown. Send to the right and it still recovers and continues thru the pins/

900 Global Respect
#15.4
3.5" pin
3.5oz top

Rt. hand
14-15 mph
PAP 4 9/16

Drilling: 5" x 5", pin up
Volume 38-41ft
THS, Kegel Challenge Series

Drilled the new Respect from Global with one of my favorite layouts: 5" x 5" pin up.  This ball carries the big WOW factor with it!  This one brings big-time backend to the lanes.  Was extremely impressed with the aggressiveness of the hybrid cover.  I do get enough mid-lane reaction to go along with a huge backend that at my ball speed of 14-15mph I can get as deep as I want on THS and this ball turns the corner!  In comparison more skid/flip than the Moxie, Moxie earlier and smoother.  The Respect OOB finish of 1500 grit polished perfect for my style.  Color scheme way cool rolling down the lane!  This is a touch the head-pin and what em' fly ball.  742 1st time out on the lanes with it.  If you're looking for "respect" on the lanes this is your ball of choice!

If you want a strong ball that is angular on the back, look no further. When I threw the Respect on the THS fresh, it was a little too over under. But you can take a little of factory polish off and hit it with "A" pad which is equivalent to 3000, this ball will be in play. However the ball was at its best and shined when I was able to move deeper into pattern and open up the lane after the front part of lane opened up a bit. Read the oil when I got it in and was nice and angular down the lane when I got it wide. Throwing the Respect on USBC 2014 Team pattern, was same issue as on THS, ball was not as much over under once the track had broken down and ball made lanes look easier than they were on Team pattern. This ball definitely has a place in your bag and when you are able to use it, you will dominate the competition and get your respect! I drilled mine with pin above ring, which is a five inch pin for me. This ball has a unique ball motion, different than alot of 900 Global previous offerings. Definitely a keeper. Thanks again 900 Global!

Personal Specs:
17 MPH, 375 rev rate, 4.25 over 3/4 up pap

First thing I noticed about this ball was how sweet the color combination looks it's very eye appealing but that is not the most important feature to this ball.

The reaction from the Respect is something I can say I haven't seen in a 900 ball ever.  It's low Rg core helps the ball pick up in the mids and the cover gives the ball a strong angular motion at the break point.  On THS I was able to use this ball all 3 games but where the ball shined was when I needed to move in and open up the lane from in.

I can see this ball in all types of bowlers hands from speed dominate to rev dominate players.

Great work 900 this one is a keeper!!!  Please let me know if you have any question I would be more than happy to help.

Looking for a little respect on the lanes?  The respect from 900 Global is a must add this ball is very clean through the front and mid lane and has an aggressive motion on the backend. Drilled pin above bridge for me makes this an everyday ball on your typical house shot. For anyone needing that strong skid flip look for when the lanes break down the respect is no doubt the way to go.

I have rolled a few hybrid balls in my lifetime but by far the Respect
has more backend recovery than any hybrid that I have rolled. This ball gives me
at least two to three miss boards to the right of my target and still gets back to the pocket
strong and flush. Great for Medium conditions and Medium–Heavy for those with slower ball speeds. Put your favorite drill on it and increase your pin carry. You have to put this one in your bag.

This ball is insanely versatile!! From your THS (typical house shot) to original wood lanes to a sport shot, I have used this ball on many different lane conditions, on almost every part of the lane!

Ball motion: Smooth through the front part of the lane, strong mid-lane read and then goes through the pins very hard!

This is the strongest shiny ball I have seen in a very long time. LOVE THIS BALL!!

:)Clean through the heads with a strong move on the back.  Great ball to open up the lane.   Probably to strong down lane on fresh longer patterns without a surface adjustment for high tilt  or slower ball speed players.   One of the biggest backend balls in the Global line.  Could be a great USBC nationals ball.  For me a little cleaner than the Dream with a little more backend.  Would compliment a Moxie or Dream On to make a great one two punch.

Drilling: 4 ½ x 6 x4
Pap: 4 3/8 x ¼ up
Finish: Box Finish
Lane Condition: 40 Foot THS
Summary:  I drilled my Respect with the pin under the center of my bridge and the CG stacked with Factory Finish.  This provides me with a layout that is very predictable.  I am very impressed with the motor of this ball.  This ball has no problem getting through the front part of the lanes with ease while still maintaining a very strong angular finish on the back ends.   I am able to use this ball to go straight up the boards with a strong motion off the end of the pattern as well as to be able to get in and wheel on it.  I had a hard time finding a way to make this ball not respond down lane.  This ball is a must have for all levels of bowler.

I recently was given the opportunity to join the 900 global family as a regional staff member, with that being said the first of these amazing group of balls I fell in love with was my RESPECT!

I drilled my respect with the pin barely above my ring finger and the cg is kicked out about 30 degrees.

This ball is my go to ball out of the bag on any pattern I am bowling on. It reacts strongly through the oil but is not overly aggressive when it gets to the dry. This ball drives through the pins harder than anything that I have ever thrown!

The respect is a definite must have in your bag! Thanks 900 Global for the best equipment on the market!

Layout: 50 X 5 X 40
Rev Rate: 375-400
Thrown on House Pattern in 2 different houses

The Respect is clean threw the heads, reads the midlane strong, with good continuous backend. The Respect will be for medium heavy patterns, the new covers from 900 Global are strong and each line fits in its proper price point. The Respect will fit in well when The Moxie starts to read the lane too earlier. You can blend out the backend with just a little surface. I would not call it skid/flip but for some this well give an easier read on a fresh pattern.

Eye catching colors should stand out on the shelf. Goes through the pins strong, keeping then low for good carry percentage. The Respect should work well for many styles, higher ball speeds may need a little surface to prevent the ball skidding to far, lower speeds may want to consider a length drill to prevent early hook.  ;D

I drilled my Respect with the pin up and cg kicked out (50 x 4 1/4 x 30). This ball is clean through the front part of the lane and angular on the backend. This ball hits very well. As long as there is enough oil, this is the first ball out of the bag and I use it as long as I can. Great ball 900 Global!

The Respect combines the successful Tetra core from the Moxie with an all new S79 Alert cover. This combo gives the Respect a clean look thru the front part of the lane and an aggressive backend motion.

For myself the Respect gives me a ball that is usable on any pattern short of heavier volume or extreme dry conditions. On our fresh house condition I am able to play straighter angles and as the pattern opens up the Respect opens up the lane with ease. I am able to use this for all 3 games of league.

If your in need of a heavy oil ball, the Respect may not fill that. The Moxie which uses the Tetra core also will be a great choice. Another ball to consider is the Dream On.
For lighter volume patterns the All Night or a Boost Purple/Cream will be much better choices as they have core/cover combos that are less aggressive than the Respect.

Drilling: Pin above middle finger, cg kicked a pinch right no hole (5 inch pin to PAP)
Surface: OOB
Oil: THS ( 3 different centers)
I drilled this ball with the intent of this being my strongest "shiny" ball in my bag. Well I can easily say I am not disappointed. Yes this ball is clean through the front part of the lane and just has some stupid back end. What I like that separates this ball from others is the core. The low rg, high diff allows this ball to not be allergic to oil. I am able to open up my angles as quick as I want and the ball never misses the spot down lane. Even if I miss left in the oil the ball still picks up and is able to get through the pins. This ball is special. EVERY BOWLER NEEDS THIS BALL. This is the ball that every one is looking for. A ball that gets through the front part of the lanes and just whips on the backend. It definitely doesn't hurt that this ball has some amazing shelf appeal!

I have my Respect drilled pin above ring finger with the CG kicked right about 30 degrees.  The pin to pap is 4.5 inches.  I have a P1 balance hole.  This ball is very clean through the heads with a strong backend motion.  It is pretty angular on the fresh.  Perfect for larger volumes of oil or after the lanes start to breakdown some.  I could move left and open up the lane with no fear that it will not make it back to the pocket.  The respect has plenty of recovery and great continuation through the pins.

Respect 1: 55 x 5 x 35
Surface OOB

WOW this ball is special. This ball is clean through the heads and is real strong on the backend. The greatest attribute to it is how versatile it is. You can use this one on multiple patterns/conditions and not sacrifice pin carry. It keeps the pins low and is very continuous.

Respect 2: 45 x 5 x 70
Surface 2000

Seeing that the first respect I drilled was a monster why not drill another. This respect revs up early in the midlane but still retains energy on the backend. I can see this one coming into play on higher volume or when the pin up respect catches a bit of carry down.

All in all this is a great ball and the color scheme really stands out. If you haven't tried any of the new global product line this is a good time to start!

The new 900 Global Respect is easily my favorite ball. Its clean through the front part of the lane but still rolls heavy. I've been able to throw my Respect on every pattern efficiently. I've been able to play any part of the lane from up the boards to hooking the whole lane, and this ball never loses pin carry. If you don't have a 900 Global Respect in your bag you're missing out.

If you liked the Moxie, introduce the Respect! Wow! does the Alert 79 Hybrid coverstock make a pronounced backend move. When the Moxie is a too early or isn't finishing well, put the Respect in your hand and keep on striking. This ball worked well on all fresh oil shots I bowled on. Definitely not a light or short oil ball. The ball motion is very predictable, but does have some backend kick to it. I initially had some over under reaction with the OOB finish (1,500 Grit Polished), but found a more consistent reaction by changing the surface to a NEAT "T" pad (4K) dull. Man did this liven up the ball reaction for me. It gave it a touch more midlane read and a better backend move. This ball definitely works well on oil. Go and get one and earn some Respect!

Don’t let the shiny coverstock fool you!  For a polished Hybrid coverstock, this ball hooks a lot more than you would expect!  The Respect is clean through the heads, stores up its energy through the mid-lane creating a strong snap on the backends.  Unlike most angular balls, this very angular ball keeps the pins low providing a ton of carry.  I have used the Respect on multiple conditions and it never loses its snap on the backends.  Whether it is a typical house shot or a more challenging shot, this ball opens the lane up.  Recently I bowled a city tournament and did not use the Respect on the team shot.  After only going +15 on the team shot I switched to the Respect for doubles and singles and went +300 for 6 to win all events.   The Respect was able to react in the oil and not over react to the dry…it really tamed the over under condition!
All bowling styles will gain RESPECT by having one of these beauties in your arsenal.   This ball is way too versatile to not own one!

Perfect name for a perfect ball..... because when you throw this ball every bowler will show you RESPECT when they see this ball perform.  The pins had no chance bowling at the Open Championships this year in El Paso.  After a rough start in the Team Event (182) the RESPECT came through without missing the hole shooting 504 the last two games.  If you like a strong symmetric this is your ball.  If you like to wheel it and curve the whole lane this is your ball.  The hybrid cover creates maximum skid and unbelievable back end reaction and I have to say this is the cream of the crop in the 900 Global line.  Your friends will GIVE YOU SOME MUCH NEEDED RESPECT when they see your reaction down the lane with this ball.  No such thing as a D.O.A. reaction here with this piece.  Treat yourself right, get a RESPECT and get some performance in YOUR game.....

Looking for a Benchmark ball? Want a ball you can throw on just about anything? Don’t look any further than the Respect.  I love me a little Symmetric Core with the 79 Alert Hybrid coverstock.  The core produces a strong, heavier roll and combined with the Hybrid cover completes this ball nicely.  Surprisingly you are able to move deeper on the lane and still get this ball to backend with power.  This is usually the first ball out of my bag to read what the lanes are doing.  I am able to move right and go straighter and also able to move left and bend it.  Just a very versatile ball for most styles.

I was completely amazed at what this ball was able to do the first time I threw it. It is very clean through the fronts, and it reads the midlane with ease. The most breath taking thing is the way the Respect can turn the corner and face up to the pocket. The Respect is extremely aggressive off the end of the pattern, and hits the pins with a ton of power that will clear the pin deck with ease. If you're looking for a ball to play a little deeper inside and still hold its own, than this is definitely the ball for you. The Respect is very versatile and its a must for every bag. Likes: Clean through the fronts and responsive to friction.  It's a versatile ball that responds well to all types of layouts.

Dislikes:None

I was extremely excited to get my hands on a respect, so much so that I drilled two of them.  Both balls are clean through the fronts.  The first Respect is responsive to friction and is great when I need to open up the lane.  The second respect is smoother and gives me a more predictable look during transition.  I am very surprised by how versatile this ball is to layouts and surface adjustments.  Chris Barnes said it best during team trials, "it's a shiny ball that hooks!"

3.5" pin, placed 1" out from ring finger
dual angle: 55x3.5"x50 w/ CG kicked out
weight hole @ PAP + 1" up
cover: OOB
oil pattern: THS
length: 39-41'
volume: medium-heavy
speed: faster (17-19)
rev rate: cranker (RH)

This pin-down layout provides an early midlane read compared to a "stacked" layout where the pin is above the ring finger. Having this ball with both layouts, the pin-down is by far my favorite of the 2. The ball motion at the break point is more pronounced and precise and gives more room outside after lane transition, however, less angular than a Moxie with the same layout. Backends on the THS are very predictable, which is the best aspect of all 900 Global bowling balls! Definitely my favorite ball, not only to throw but to look at as well!!

The Respect has earned its name among the best pieces of equipment on the market today! It is quite simply THE must-have ball for your arsenal. If you do not own this ball, you're missing out on some great scoring opportunites and higher averages!

My Review of the 900 Global Respect

The layout I chose on this ball is pin up between the fingers cg kicked out 30 degrees.

I find this ball very versatile and can do many different things with just changing the surfaces of the ball. This ball is very good if you need a ball to get threw the lane well and still read the pattern well it is also very strong/angular on the backend.

REVIEW:

When I first got this ball I heard a lot of things about it, the way it read the mid lane and still cleared the fronts.  What I didn’t expect was how ANGLE I get out of this ball after it reads the mid-lane.  Usually when I have to move in to the deeper part of the lane I have trouble finding the right piece to read the mids and carry the corner, not with this ball.  This ball will benefit every type of player tweener, stroker, and even the crankers.  You can put more revs in the ball or take some revs out and the ball still reads and takes a sharp turn to the pocket.  Easily one of the best pieces I have thrown in my bowling career.

900 Global Respect

Coverstock: Hybrid Reactive
Finish: 1500 grit polished
Layout: 70 x 4 3/8 x 70
Pin placement: Below bridge
Test pattern: THS, USBC White 2

The best reaction I had with this ball was when there was a little bit of carry down on both the THS and White pattern as the hybrid coverstock had enough teeth to dig in the oil while maintaining enough energy, and having the more angular backend to drive through the pins. It is very easy to watch the ball rev up in the midlane while having enough energy retained to not roll out and maintain a more continuous motion through the pins. This ball was great during transition periods when more aggressive solids would lose their energy and leave flat ten's. If you are looking for a ball to use for medium to heavy oil patterns that will give you some extra "pop" on the backends, this would be a very good choice.

I've owned this ball since September 2015. Now that I have my new PAP measured as well as tons of experience with it, I can give a fair review.
This ball comes out of the box at 1500 grit polished.  Personally I don't like to keep balls at this surface because I change surfaces quite frequently. Higher grit surfaces like 3000, 4000, or polished finishes allows it to clear the heads yet still rev up thanks to the strong engine. It definitely has a distinct pick up in the midlane and it continues off the spot. When you put lower grit surfaces on it, the ball has enough traction to make the shape down lane smoother and read the front part of the lane. Do not let the versatility fool you! It has a strong cover that requires a decent amount of oil. If I'm looking to use this ball on a fresh pattern, I typically change the surface to 2000 and adjust accordingly. Overall, this ball offers a load of versatility on conditions with a bit of head oil. If you're looking for a strong symmetric that takes surfaces changes well with a predictable yet aggresive motion, I would highly recommend it.

This ball excels on medium conditions when the pattern starts to breakdown. what I was surprised most about this ball is how much energy is saved even though it rolls a lot. the motion isn't skid flip but its not all roll, a very good combination of both. so if your looking for a ball that gets though the fronts when they start to go away and stay in the same zone this would be a great choice.Tim Janz 900 Global staff

900 Global Respect

Speed 16MPH
Rev rate 325
PAP 5 ¾ x 3/8 Up
Dual Angle Layout- 65 x 5 ½ x 40

The best way for me to describe the Respect by 900 Global is simple: Money. This ball has repeatedly proven to be the ball that is in my hand whenever I post big games and high series. I drilled my Respect 65 x 5 ½ x 40 to give me a little more length, with a lot of angle coming back into the pocket. With the S79 Alert Hybrid coverstock and the low RG, high differential Tetra core, the Respect gives you a look that allows you to play many different zones and angles into the pocket. This ball is about 2-3 boards stronger than my Drift, which provides with me a 1-2 punch of bowling balls that complement each other well. With polish on this ball, it is perfect for when the shot begins to break down or transition and you need to make your move deeper inside and but still can throw the ball outside with confidence that it is going to come back to the pocket hard. I have also found success taking this ball down to 3000 and it still rolls phenomenal. By putting surface on the ball, it tames the ball down just enough to allow me to play a little further outside, but still have strong down lane motion to drive the pins straight back. Get out and get your 900 Global Respect today, and make others start to Respect your game.

Review
The Respect is becoming an arsenal faviorate in the bag for many bowlers.  The big midlane motion along with the strong backend finish allows the player to open up the lane very quickly.  For your typical THS shot the Respect is going to work well and allow you to keep moving along with the transition. For your sport shot scenario the Respect will more likely be used after the lanes breakdown a bit and you want to take advantage of length the box finish provides. If you were a fan of the original Respect you already know what this one can do.  If you have not been introduced to the Respect from 900 Global be sure to check this one out. I truly recommend this one for your THS conditions. It's one of my favorite in the bag.  Grab one today!
