Title: Get Deep
Post by: AlonzoHarris on February 16, 2017, 02:41:38 PM
What is your get deep ball of choice at the moment? What ball do you go to if you gotta really move in deep and can trust that it will carry those corners?

Spiked this topic after a recent quick posting with Luke on how the Hy-Road Pearl and IQ cores tend to just fluff when you get too deep.

Mines currently the Code Black..but I sometimes wonder, when is it too much angle for an asym?...

Low RG strong pearls do it for me

No Rules Extreme Pearl, Alliance Feud, and Sync Pearl are covering a ton of boards for me

... too much angle is when you start seeing all sorts of weird leaves

I like to move in even with my lower rev rate if I can also bring my break point in too.   Best balls for this for me right now are alpha crux and no rules pearl depending on how much push I can get.

Surprisingly,  I have been able to use my Dv8 Freakshow to be able to play some steep angles with, as this ball has been a great match-up for my game.

It's a symmetric core with the numbers and performance of  asymmetric performance (of course it helps that it's mostly a medium condition primary).

not surprising at all,I can get my FS into 5th arrow range and still cross the headpin on the right condition. I prefer to keep my angles a little straighter though.

Same here six pack, the performance of these lower end balls are staggering, unless your bowling on heavier or longer volumes, why even bother buying higher end equipment?  Performance is in all price ranges....

I can EASILY get as much performance with my Wreck-it as I can the new Timeless, at a FRACTION of the price. I'll save my money for better things.

I can keep following the transition with my Dream On, and when I really have to bounce the spot, my Boost Pearl. Needs friction, but man can it get back from anywhere.

Mine has been the True Nirvana, just a strong pearl that give me a good entry angle when moving in deep with it

How about the LT-48 Vintage? it has the proper Diff and RG. that is suggested.

Motiv tag. I just bowled a tournament(house shot) at a house I never bowled in before I started off throwing 16board to 6 and then by the third game I was throwing 21 board to 6. Second squad comes by I'm now at 24 board out to 6 and finished 27 board out to 6. I only had my tropical heat n spare ball. I could of went to the breeze but if my tag gonna keep destroying pockets why change.
