Trying to get some traffic back to the VBP forum. If you have some Visionary stuff, post up what ya got, pics, etc.
I know I am drooling over some of the gems some of you have NIB...
Attached are pics of my VBP stuff...VBP is all I use. The rack is my spare stuff and the other pic is what I take to league with me.
Waiting on a new Crow to arrive. I went from using grips to no grips late last year and just had not replaced it yet.

Spike here. And I thought I had a problem...a problem with too many excellent options! I'll post an updated pic once I get around to it. Right now my league arsenal is: Raven, Raven Invasion, Crimson Executioner and a Purple Ice (thanks G). Got a Burgundy and Charcoal if they put oil out. Love every one I got!!!

Anybody have a Ogre Urethane 15lb NIB? That is my dream visionary ball. All I have currently is The Crow 15lb drilled but if knew about Visionary sooner would have gotten The Raven as my oiler.
It's really tough to find a nib Ogre urethane, people have been looking for awhile. I wouldn't mind finding a B/G Centaur as many people said it was a great dry lane ball.
The Raven isn't really an oiler, your Scandal Pearl would be stronger than it. The Raven worked best for me when the lanes had some carrydown.

A hard urethane ball was the Glowing Amulet. Also very difficult to find. I don't think I have seen one on ebay. Visionary did not make it for very long due to pouring difficulties, I believe.

For reference: the Amulet was a semi-clear plastic with a real core (warlock?) while the Glowing Amulet was urethane.

I absolutely love my two Ravens. I have different layouts and surfaces on them to cover pretty much all house conditions apart from extreme dry or extreme oil. These balls only leave my bag when I get bored and want to throw some of my problem children. ;)

bowlerscellar is currently selling a NIB B/G Centaur on ebay, 16 pounds though.

Thanks came to the party late so plugs in a lot of them but perfectly fine with that. They won't crack just after the limited 1 year warranty being up like some other brands. Probably out live me some of them. Ended up having to get a fair number of them in 16#, but for whatever reason the 16# Visionary don't roll all that different for me like some other balls do. Company may be gone but will live in my arsenal for many years to come.

I am currently trying to get down to a 4 ball arsenal for the fast-approaching league season. Have been taking several different balls out during summer practice and going with what I’ve been having good success with. Right now looks like what’s gonna be in my bag is-
Charcoal Executioner- This ball still amazes me.
Glad Solid- If I had to pick a “one-ball arsenalâ€..,
Samurai- An underrated ball imo.
Glad Pearl- Great light/medium option.

VBP fans, thought/comments? What are you guys throwing this year?
Sad to say since VBP is no more....I have moved on. I kept the best of the old school VBP, got rid of the modern last few years of VBP as they did nothing for me and using mainly Motiv but a few others. Venom Shock is my go to medium bench mark, T10LE for medium-heavy and going to add a Hammer Orange Vibe this year.
I notice Spike you listed all older VBP that also worked well for me. The new stuff was poor performance for the most part.

I had success with Raven and Raven Pearl, plus been liking what I’m seeing with the Samurai, but yes, do like the older VBP stuff. Especially satisfying when you trounce someone with a ball >10 years old! Have a NIB Violet Gargoyle that’ll be next to hit lanes this year ( thanks G)!

Best Visionary collection in the free world lol (Mi 2 that is). As for the Banger balls can't wait to punch up Hole Finder pearl I picked up because gave up trying to find a Warlock XV pearl instead. So far really dig the Banger roller bag I got.

I guess it depends on what you call older. I wouldn't consider the Gladiators a retro ball whereas the Charcoal, yeah, that's retro. Granted, they aren't new either.
I know for me, I've gone through my fair share of Visionary balls, and I do have a Frankie May sitting NIB that will be drilled (maybe...), but for me over the last 3 years it's been a steady dose of the Raven (Particle Pearl) and the Warlock Pearl on all lanes. Every so often I'll put out the Gladiator Pearl, but it's not often enough. And all 3 balls can handle most of what's out there for a heavier house shot to a drying one. So, for me not all of the 'newer' balls had issues. Some I will admit didn't match up with my game at all though.

1 Bronze Centaur AMB (short pin layout) killer ball, one of my favorites, rarely ever leave it at home
1 Bronze Centaur AMB (double-thumb layout) have not had a chance to use since recently plugging WH
1 Bronze Centaur AMB (NIB)
1 Centaur AMB Solid (pin in middle finger MB 45) good length, not much hook but really does carry
1 Centaur AMB Solid (NIB)
1 Immortal AMB Pearl (pin down MB 45) good length, shape, & carry
1 Immortal AMB Pearl (short pin layout) recently drilled looks promising but Bronze Centaur won't let me use (lol)
1 Blue-Green Centaur (pin next to ring finger CG in center) awesome control, strikes for days when lined up
1 Blue-Green Centaur (pin up MB in thumb) doesn't over react on backend
1 Green Gargoyle (pin next to ring finger CG in center) skid/sharp flip for me
1 Green Gargoyle (NIB)
1 Ogre SS (pin next to ring finger CG in center) length w/++carry
1 Ogre SS multiple pluggings/redrills, don't use anymore
Too many balls taking up space probably need to part with some of these but it's nice that these ball last, and last, and last.

I have three Visionary bowling balls:
15 lbs Ogre Solid: Smooth-rolling ball that is good on Fresh THS and medium to shorter sport conditons.
15 lbs Midnight Scorcher (burgundy pad): Found this one recently on eBay with about 10 games on it. This is the ultimate short but flooded the **** out sport pattern ball where you want to play up the boards. It picks up even in the juice and arcs gradually with a heavy roll and hits like George Foreman.
15 lbs Granite Gargoyle (burgundy pad): This is the ball I go to when I want more length and backend than the Scorcher but still want tons of traction on heavy oil.
