Title: DV8 Alley Cat - 5/16/2017

New light oil ball from DV8. Three different colors. I'm assuming that it has a pearl coverstock but the only one that looks like it might be is the pink/black option. The red/electric blue and purple/green options look like solids to my eyes, but I don't think DV8 would release two different coverstocks without making note of it.

At 15 lbs. the 2.564 and .025 differential seems to be fairly close to most other light oil balls on the market. Will be interesting to see just how strong the ball actually is on the lanes.

Also, on the info sheet link on the page the updated ball chart only has the Pitbull, Freakshow Solid, Vandal Destroy, Diva Style, Freakshow, and Alley Cat on it. Looks like some decent discontinued sales are coming.

Any real difference between this and the outcast?

Probably the biggest difference would be in coverstock (if any).  Doubt you could tell between a 0.025 and a 0.030 diff core
