Depending on lane surface and pattern volume. Not a heavy oiler by any means. At factory surface, reads the mids very well, super predictable, very even rolling round shape downlane. Don't be afraid to adjust the surface as needed

Agreed on this. This actually is my benchmark ball. It takes surface adjustments very well, and is very predictable. You'll love this for seeing where you need to adjust equipment wise on the lanes. Definitely a good trade.

I use my shock as benchmark ball. Maybe I'll go pindown on this for when I need my ball to pick up a little sooner on the lane maybe with 1 grit lower then the shock

Very excited to hear that it takes well to surface adjustments though. Thanks

One thing to keep in mind.  Pin placements are pretty far down the list as far as ball motion goes. Ball surface is by far the most influential with pin-pap distance second
Core strength and layouts/tweaks last.
