Is the desert ops a good addition as a drier lane ball to the HB
-
As a ball down, no. As a different shape down lane, yes. If you're looking for a ball down from the Honey Badger but with a similar shape, go with a Boost. A Drift would be a ball down, but not by much. With the high rg and low diff of the Desert, but still S70 pearl, it's going to still read, but not be as sharp off the spot.

Thanks for your advice. I will definitely be checking out the boost.
I noticed the boost in different colors, are they all the same reaction?

Pearl is going to be a little more snappy than the solid. Mine really goes shockingly sideways on the mediums. Pleasantly more ball than I expected. I loved my Hook, and this series trumps it.

Just like Doom stated, a Boost is a better same reaction ball down to the HB
For me when the lanes get burned up to the point where the HB is no fun to throw any more, I pull out my Desert Ops as a smoother motion through the burn.
