COMMENTS

Likes: Good length with controllable back end shape

Dislikes: Doesn't like if I miss into the heavier parts of the oil.

I was going to drill another Gamebreaker2 pearl since that is my go to ball when the lanes start to get a bit burned up but instead I decided to match my GB2 layout to this new ball. Boy was I glad I did. This ball really gets through the heads clean and have a very smooth back end reaction which is what I was looking for. Very predictable ball motion and will be a staple in my bag when going to tournaments. If you are looking for that mid price point ball, look no further than the Affinity.

Wow!! Fresh off the drill press straight to the lanes.  229-254-235=717. Have not used Ebonite since the 90's. Really liking what I am seeing from them lately. Affinity might be the best pearl I ever have thrown.  Great length with a huge back end motion. This ball gave me miss room right and left. Used it tonight at a house I tend to get over/under on. No hint of over/under with this ball tonight. I realize it is just 3 games but really can't wait to use this ball again. Might have to look into a solid from Ebonite.

The Affinity is the perfect addition to the Ebonite line up. Mine is drilled 65x4x70 with no hole. When comparing this to a Matrix, it is about 3 to 4 less overall, but with a more defined hook on the back of the lane. I wouldn't call it a flip, but a strong move that is very readable. When compared to the Game Breakers 2 Phenom Pearl, it is cleaner and more continuous. Which for me is perfect, my phenom pearl at times would read the friction too hard and quit just a little on the back. This ball will allow you to chase the pattern left as it breaks down. Add some surface and it blends the pattern even more. So far I prefer mine in the shiny state, this compliments the other balls in my arsenal well. I will drill more of this ball, I can see it being very useful on many patterns.

65 x 6  x 40
I have had the chance to throw the Affinity from Ebonite on a variety of patterns the versatility is unmatched.  For me, I am able to find push late in blocks with this ball when nothing else in my bag will clear the front part of the lane.  I’m able to open up the lane with ease and I could see this ball being a solid piece for high rev or slow ball speed players on the typical house pattern.  This ball was definitely a piece missing in my bag, and since adding it, I’ve lead two consecutive events.

The Affinity is a MUST!!!!  CLEAN, CLEAN, and CLEAN!!!!!  The ball maybe one of the cleanest balls through the front part of the lane that I have ever thrown.  It's versatility is also a strong characteristic.  I personally have found myself able to play multiple angles to the pocket with ball more than any other.  I would consider the Affinity Ebonite's Benchmark ball!!!!
