I stopped bowling for 8 years and it's been probably 12 since I bought a new strike ball. I know the technology has changed and I'm looking to upgrade my arsenal. I currently throw a 16lb Ebonite Tornado and a 15lb Hammer Blade. The Blade feels better on my hand but I can't make it turn without slowing it down to around 14mph. The Tornado seems to turn better in the heavier oil than I used to bowl in and reacts better at speeds of 15.5-16mph which is where I'd like to be. Any recommendations as to where I should start my search for a new ball? I generally throw a pretty tight line with it not getting out too far from where I start it.

What’s your speed, rev rate, axis tilt, axis rotation, and what conditions do you normally bowl on? Providing this info will help give you informative recommendations.

Speed is generally around 15.5mph, rev rate is fairly low. Axis tilt and rotation I've never checked on. Conditions are synthetic lanes with quite a bit of oil out to about board 7 and 40 feet down.

Welcome back to bowling! From what you describe, I'd suggest something like a stronger solid.
In the Brunswick line-up that could easily be the Magnitude .055 or even the Kingpin, which has an asymmetrical core. Both are plenty strong for me, with the Magnitude being a tad more forgiving when my release isn't zoned in, so to speak.

I just bought this ball (Radical The Fix also a Brunswick company). Its really good for heavier oil for us strokers and tough to find a stronger ball under $100 (Black Friday price). Plus you can drill it to be asymmetric (more angular) or symmetric for a smoother arc and can change the overall strength of the ball with the drilling over a wider margin than almost any other ball. Have a Radical More Cash I use as my current strong ball and that is my 2nd favorite ball. Radical does strong balls better than about anyone else IMO which is why I couldn't resist a Fix at that price to store for covering any holes in my arsenal in the future.
