Title: Ball down from Wreck-em?
Post by: Juggernaut on December 11, 2017, 12:25:55 PM
Drilled a Wreck-em this week, and I like the ball, but for me, on our house shot, it’s really a lot of ball.

I don’t throw real hard, 15mph on the monitor is fast for me. The ball is drilled pin up, about 4 in from pap, cg swung a tad positive, with an x-hole straight over in a neutral position. Strongish drill for me usually.  Pin up 4 X 3 (close)

Started out on the fresh, feet on 30 playing third arrow. Ball was pure money, gave a little hold AND a little out, and I shot good.

Second game, things changed a bit. Ball was earlier. Went X X 9/ NOSE7 X NOSE8 before I figured out the move. Made 203, but just barely.

Moved my feet 4 deeper, moved my target 3-4 feet down, which put me over 17 at the arrows. Kept the speed up, and made 226.

Decent set, but would’ve LOVED to be able to stay a bit further out. Is that just not possible in today’s game?

Another good reason to bowl doubles.  Shot holds up longer.  Otherwise transition is the name of the game is what everyone says.

Match-up Hybrid, or Hustle Ink should fit the bill.
