It's only overseas at the moment

I feel like with the hype they are making available to US viewers, this ball will be coming our way soon. I think they took the feedback into consideration on the Timeless that it's just too over/under.

Nope.

Think it's a no go for US? I think the ball is ugly as hell anyways.

They could at least come up with a name that hasn't been used.  Is the Google broke in Utah?

It appears to be in the worldwide section now. It wasn't the other day.

I'll have a video up on it in a bit.  R2S Nano Hybrid, it is in fact coming stateside and will be released with the Son!Q on February 9th . . so if nothing else we'll still at least get a great ball that day, and now maybe two . . Nano being the key operative word here.

Is R2S Nano > NRG Nano?

Is R2S Nano > NRG Nano?

Doubtful as Belmo put it under the Phaze II using TX-16 which is under NRG Nano.

Nano, because the Timeless was useless.

I think the most interesting comparison would be with the OG Hy-Road, Hy-Road Nano, & Phaze II to see the differences in the 4 balls.

Timeless was a great ball to go 170-270-170 with.

I'm exicted because I have always had great luck with sanded pearls and hybrids... sinister, prodigy, critical theory....

I passed on the timeless, I'll be getting this one.

It's WWRD...belmo posted a video lol...some of you are behind.

I think I'm gonna pick this one up. Maybe I'll even try to do a video comparison to some other balls like a Marvel Pearl, Hy-Road, and Hy-Road Nano.

It's looking to me that Belmo and storm will team up to bring a new ball every February. Timeless came out February 14, 2017. Now the drive this February 2018. I liked the Timeless. This ball is ugly so it might just be a swann

R2S is one of the weaker covers they make believe it or not, so anything blended with it is going to likely be weaker than the original full cover.

Is R2S Nano > NRG Nano?

Ugh, another release with the R2S cover.  I have never had any success with this cover, like many others have.  I would hope they retire it soon.

I've had success with R2S hybrid and solid, never Pearl. I don't know about it with the dual drive core. The Timeless SE with R2X Pearl interested me a lot more than the original

R2S Nano will be a different animal, I can promise that.  Lol it may be a worse animal, but the Nano factor is extremely dominant, I'm not expecting it to feel much like R2S.

R2S Pearl is my baby. I've loved it on everything I've thrown with it. R2S Hybrid I've only used on the Code Red, and I think that's not a fair sample size to determine my thoughts on it yet. R2S Solid takes surfaces changes to heart like no other, and I can get down with that.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't ERG basically the cover formula from the actual NRG coverstock without the special gripping technology?

Thank you for this, sir.

Also. I'm uh...asking for a friend.

Is Nano = particle?

Lol probably, but everyone is still using particle, they just don't call it that anymore . .

After seeing the TeamHiSP video of the Storm Drive, I know for a fact that I won't ever buy that one.  It is the most hideous looking ball that Storm has ever produced.  That is one UGLY ball.  LOL.

I see your Drive and raise you the Trauma Recovery and Hot Wire . . and they both knocked down a lot of pins for me, so as long as there's still an X on the board up there, it can be as ugly as it wants to be!

How much different is the drive from the code red? The CR for me seems like you have to play a more direct angel when I start to move farther left it looks like its going to come back then doesn't and I have a pretty high rev rate

The storm Drive is the second ball in collaboration with Jason Belmonte in the signature line. The Drive features the same dual drive core found in the timeless, but is now wrapped in the R2S Nano cover. This provides the Drive with a greater amount of traction in the middle lane, while still having the ability to retain the most amount of energy through the pin deck. I see the Drive as fitting perfectly between the Sure Lock and Phaze ll, and the first ball out of the bag on tougher conditions. The Drive will also be a great option for lower rev rate or speed dominate players that want to see more overall motion out of a ball. Be sure to head over to your local pro shop and get your pre-order in for the February 9 release date! #StormNation

Ouch looks like BTM didn't think too highly of this ball at least with factory surface.  Still did same thing to Black Quantum which is a pretty decent ball and my experience with it doesn't match their numbers at all so bag of salt as usual.

So the ball is out now. Is it worth getting or most of you'll are trashing it like the Timeless. If you like it, how is your ball punch

It's still condition specific and not for everyone just like the Timeless.  It IS however better than the Timeless and will be the first ball in my bag for Nationals in July.  If it doesn't crack sitting on the rack in the basement between now and then.

I'm serious on the Nationals thing though and for big rev collegiate bowlers, lots of better looks on a house shot though, barring a few outliers here and there.

Wasn't this the ball Belmo got eliminated with at the TOC?

I'll be completely honest...wasn't sold on the price or the ball but then I had a demo day on Saturday and this ended up being my favorite of all the balls there...didn't buy one only because I had a soniq coming already...

Belmo lost because he made a couple terrible shots and chopped a spare, the first 5 frames he was nails and the ball was perfect.  Honestly a great ball for tough stuff.

BALL SPECS
Pin Length: 3 - 4
Starting Top Weight: 2.89 oz
Ball Weight: 15

BOWLER STYLE: RH - Stroker
Rev Rate: 380-420
Ball Speed: 15-16
PAP: 4 7/8 right 5/8 up

SURFACE PREP
Box Finish: factory 3000

The Drive is the second ball in the Jason Belmonte line and has outdone themselves from the Timeless. The Timeless was either really loved or hated, but the Drive is a ball that many types of player will enjoy. Out of the box it is at 3000, but can be changed very easy to match your style of play. Personally, I prefer balls that allow me to stay straighter, like a Code Red or Son!Q. The Drive lets me get in if needed as well as play straight on a longer or heavy pattern.
