Title: PBA 60th anniversary tournament
Post by: SVstar34 on February 17, 2018, 11:12:56 AM
Shota Kowazoe punched out to take the 5th spot by 1 over Bill O'Neill who left a 10 on his fill and 2 ahead of Andrew Anderson who shot 250+ leaving a 9 pin that moved forward and didn't fall.

I've personally enjoyed watching Shota since I first saw him a few years ago in the  DCH Japan tournament and glad he's come over to bowl events

What Shota did in that 10th frame was nothing short of amazing.  48 games in 4 days (8/8/16/16 games a day) is a GRIND.  To have the energy, focus, and mental fortitude to pull off what he did at the end of it all is world class.

With all that said, I like Shota, nothing but respect for him, but I always root for the lefties (unless it’s OG vs. Jesper - nothing against Jesper, OG is a tri-state area local that I always root for).  I would love to throw it like Matt Sanders and I am amazed at what Butturff can do.

I like Sanders a lot and I think hes going to have a good career. I think he's a better version of Pepe
