Any one have any ideas\picked up on info of what the new releases are going to be??
Bowl expo is still 13 days away. I figured by now Schlem would be dropping hints.
What are you hoping to see? Or take a guess on what we may see?
I’ll guess and say an Idol pearl.

I think they learned after the No Rules info leaked a couple years ago. They had it on the approved list then it was pulled shortly after people started talking about it. Seems like Storm/Roto Grip wants stuff put out there on their terms. Not that I blame them. Marketing hype is real.

Looks ugly but specs make it seem pretty strong. Would be interesting. Since we are pretty confident that the HP4 line is getting a pearl, I wonder how that will affect the Intense Fire sales.
I think the Crush It on Hi-SP Youtube channel might be the winner for that spot though.

Crush It hit the USBC approved list today. Kinda seals the deal that it's the HP4 Pearl. Not seeing anything else though for the other lines.

Just noticed roto cleaned house on their website. Only the Hot Cell, Fused, Idol, Danger, Show Off, Ink, HYB, POW, and plastic ball left.
Might be a pretty big announcement at bowl expo

Can’t believe the Hot Cell is still there.
Probably still plenty of people intrigued by an asym urethane that they want to atleast wait till start of the upcoming season. I mean you have it on your watch list. I think they're rolling the dice a little longer with it.

I'm expecting pearls across the board, POW is the only pearl left in the line. Idol is stronger than anything they've had in the HP4 line anyway, so HP4 missing a solid isn't a big hole, they have their hybrids covered with the Fused, Danger, and HYB, solids are Idol, Show Off, and Ink, so HP2, 3 and 4 lines get pearls I think, and with the Exist and AOSO getting discontinued so recently, I think they fill those holes at the end of the year.
Crush It seems to be the HP4 release like has been said, pearl Idol is a no brainer, and we haven't had a pearl Show Off yet, so I'm expecting that too. No inside information, but knowing Schlemer, this sounds like what he'd do.

It's a gamble with them because Schlem can throw some stupid colors together. I would love to see the Dark Phaze color combo of Charcoal/Silver/Emerald or a dark Silver/Purple

Winner could do better with a different name. Kinda..well lame but might have some good performance. Wonder Woman looking logo with Son!Q coloring.
The Halo is just a dumb release. The IDOL and Code X have solids covered right now for Storm and RG.
I guess now my only hopes is that Storm drops a Master or Thunder line release today.

Personally happy with the Halo, have held off on the Idol as I’m favouring asyms for strong cover balls right now, so I’m pleased to see this.
That said it’s very lacklustre overall from RG. There’s a stack of gaps left in the lineup after all the discontinued stuff.

I think the Halo will be a good ball. I also think it could have been released with better timing.
If we look across the higher side of the two companies lines (HP4, HP3, Premier, Master) the Intense and Son!Q are the only pearls. Yet we have Sure Lock, Code X, Phaze II, Idol, and now the Halo for solid smoother reactions. The Code Red and Intense Fire don't fit the bill either. The Hyper Cell Fused I guess acts like a strong pearl.
They could have done better timing these releases by evaluating their lines I guess is all I'm saying. Oh well saves me money for a longer time now haha.

Honestly, if it wasn't for the success of the INK, Idol, and Hyper Cell Fused (looking promising so far) Schlemer would be getting some HQ scrutiny. He's pushed out some shitty stuff this past year and a half.

Hellsfire both company release decent balls through out the year. Why wait until the trade show to release stuff. I would think it would be better releasing throughout the year. IMO the trade show is so overrated bullshit hype.

Because of the Son!Q price point and where it would have been in my arsenal, I couldn't bring myself to get it. Wanted it, but on lane performance didn't quite push me to it either. For HP2 price, if this new VTC-P18 Pearl Reactive is more midlane than R2S Pearl, I might try it out.

To expand because why not. Here's how I see the lines if I was setting PS prices out the door. (All "+ tax")

The Soniq is overpriced by typical pricing standards, but I have to say, it’s easily the most versatile ball in my bag. It was a great ball for me on house shots, it was a great burn ball for me at nationals, and it’s been the only ball I’ve used every week of my summer sport shot league (rotating patterns every week). A symmetrical that can get downlane but still rev up strong is tough to find (unless you read staffer reviews lol). It’s almost like an asymmetric pearl without the issue of being too strong for the conditions 90% of the time. For me it’s been worth every penny, I’ve wasted a lot of money searching for the reaction I get out of it.

I'm just guessing, but with how Roto operates, I could see VTC-P18 Pearl Reactive being stronger and smoother than R2S Pearl. I would venture to say to compensates a touch for that higher RG on the Winner. We'll see though.

Sounds like a Marvel Pearl to me. I would either grab an All Out Show Off, Wreck Em, or Hustle POW if I needed tradition cleaner and shape ball. Not sure why this is HP2, but glad such a ball is coming our way.
