Title: Motiv Jackal Ghost vs. Ebonite Verdict
Post by: earlyrolling on August 07, 2018, 12:04:48 AM
Hi All,

Anyone thrown both the Jackal Ghost and Ebonite Verdict?
If you have, how do they compare to each other with regard to motion in the midlane and backend?

I know that the JG has a higher grit finish so should be cleaner, but kinda wondering if the Verdict would be identical if you took the Verdict to 3K finish too?

Thx.

The surfaces are closer than you think. The 3000 LSS on the Ghost is actually 500 + 2000 twice from the factory.

In my experience and from what I've seen, the Ghost is smoother and handles oil better.

For me the Verdict is closer to the Paradox Black while the Ghost is most similar to the RipD Solid

Own and have thrown both.
Ghost is good, smoother, carries well, would recommend.
Verdict is shit, cover and core don't match well, ball quits more than any ball I have ever own and carries like a dish towel. Mine went into garbage.
Just my experience.

Funny you say that. My Ghost was useless over under nightmare didn't carry for a shit when it hit the pocket, small adjustments caused it to miss the breakpoint badly.

Verdict is more Angular and Rolls all the way through the pins keeps them and low and carries very well. More consistent imo and can handle small adjustments and stay in the pocket.

Two bowlers two drastically different opinions.
