I`ve finally put enough games on this to feel comfortable reviewing it.

Got this ball for dry. Had it drilled up label, pin at about 1:30. (15 lbs, 3" pin, 3.25oz top).

Not for extreme dry. This ball is too strong (or maybe it`s just my layout, tamer drill and this ball would probably be fine for truly dry lanes).

This ball is awesome. Not necessarily for the condition I bought it for though. This ball is great for light / medium conditions. I have high revs with about 15-17mph ball speed. Usually play this about 19 at the arrows out to about 7-8 at 40'. Ball makes a nice, smooth controlled arc and rips the rack. Carries really well on the light hits. Great control without a lot of over / under.

I just picked up the XXXL for extreme dry. I`ll write about that one once I get a few more games on it.

Specs: 15lbs
              Pin 2-3"
Drilled pin axis with weight hole on PAP
Polished (not sure what finish) with Finesse It

I picked this ball up used from Drillwizard because it already had the pin axis drilling I was looking for. I wanted this ball to be my go-to ball when the Cherry Bomb was just too hard to control on the backends. That's exactly what I've got. The polished XL gets exceptional length and makes a strong but controlled arc to the hole, continuing through like a freight train and smashing everything when it gets there. Playing on my second shift mixed league shot, I was able to stroke this ball nice and firm up second arrow and just smash the hole all night long. This drilling and finish make the XL exactly what I was looking for on dry shots. This is not, however, a one-trick-pony, as this ball can still be used to open up the lanes when I put more hand into it. I practiced with it at a house across town that has longer oil and sloppy backends. Playing deep inside and cranking the ball up I was able to find the hole and just blast away, making this ball even more versatile than I originally thought. I know that some people have been disappointed because they've found the XL to be stronger than they expected. However, with the right drilling and coverstock prep this ball can damn near anything you  want it to be. A great benchmark ball and another great weapon in the Lane 1arsenal. I see some honor scores coming with this one, maybe as early as tonight! Fantastic ball 9.5 out of 10.

Ball: 15lb, 2-3" pin, 3.1oz top weight

Layout: Drilled with pin next to ring finger, cg swung out, approx 3.5 X 2

Conditions: Normal house shot, medium to heavy oil 13L to 13R, dry outsides

Surface: Wet sanded to 800 grit and polished with compound to high gloss

Review: I was surprised by the recovery of this ball.  I was expecting more of a mellow reaction, given the fairly weak cover of this ball.  What I found was super length, a defined set-up and pronounced hard arc into the pocket.  By adjusting speed and hand position, I was able to get to the pocket anywhere from playing up the 5 board to swinging 15 out to 8.  I found the hit and carry of this ball to be super.

This would be a great choice for anyone on medium to heavy conditions with clean backends.  High rev players could get away using this on tighter shots.  This ball appears to have enough "pop" to carry from inside angles when the the lanes dry out and you move inside.  Overall I have had no complaints about this ball and consider it to be one of my better purchases.

This ball is just what I wanted. It's about two boards weaker than my Triple X (I normally start on 20 with this I start on 18 on the same condition). So it's great for dry to medium-dry . I got chance to use it when I played some friends on our Thursday just play a few games night. We ended up staying till closing time and by that time the lanes were pretty dry , this ball was superb I could just play my normal shot and it took a similar line to my triple x and would hit the pocket just as hard.

I really like how long this ball goes, but it left me alot of corner pins. I shot a 299 with it this year, but other than that I could not carry a seven pin. Mine works great on medium to light oil patterns because it goes extremely long. This is not my most reliable ball, but I tolerate it.

This ball is great under the right conditions. It can tolerate a little oil if you are lined up right but if not she just isn't coming back. When dry this ball is a beast. Once there is carry down just go to something a little stronger.
